Question:
Hello, My 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands edition came with tow connectors on the front bumper that look like I could connect to my Roadmaster tow system on my Class A RV. I wanted to confirm that it is designed to do this or do I need to purchase different connectors? At a minimum, I want to get the wiring recommendations from you as well for brakes and turn signals.

Hey Sean, since we know the 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands has D-rings that are 1 inch thick and that you also have a Roadmaster tow bar the correct base plate kit solution is the Roadmaster part # RM65FR.
For lighting you can use the diode kit, # RM-15267, and not have to worry about cutting into the taillight housing. This will splice into your taillight wiring to allow your tow vehicle to control the taillight assemblies of the towed vehicle. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV.
And finally, most states now require supplemental braking in the vehicle being flat towed. The easiest system to set up and use is the Curt RVi Series 4 Portable Flat Tow Brake System # RVI44FR, that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm good on the wiring details now but I'm still unclear on the tow hooks. Here are the upgraded tow hooks from Ford that I can't find any details on the amount of weight that they can support. Can I keep these or do I need to replace them with a baseplate? I. Getting mixed information on if they are capable or not to flat tow. https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-18954-BB Thanks, Sean
