Question:

How do I tow my 2017 Ford Escape behind my RV without damage ? What kind of dolly do I need at an affordable price ?

I did some checking and it looks like the front wheel drive versions of the 2017 Ford Escape can be towed on a tow dolly. The 4WD versions cannot though.

The Roadmaster Tow Dolly part # RM-2050-1 would be a great option for a tow dolly. It's our best priced option and would work well. To use the dolly's brakes though you'll need to install a 7-way in place of the connector that's on it with the part # PK12706.

The owner's manual doesn't specify what damage could be done but simply says to use a flat bed trailer with all 4 wheels off the ground if it needs to be towed. Typically there's the potential for damage to the transmission on vehicles like these.
