When you’re towing long distances in hot weather, you need a combo that stays cool and steady. The Maxxis ST225/75R15 radial tire holds an N-speed rating (87 mph) and a 2,830-lb maximum load at 80 psi. The radial construction helps it track straight and run cooler on the highway, so your trailer feels stable mile after mile.
There’s no shop visit needed before hitting the road. This tire comes bead-balanced from the factory using internal balancing beads, so it’s smooth right out of the box without external weights. It’s already mounted on the matching 15" x 6" aluminum wheel with a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern, 4.29" pilot diameter, and wheel capacity of 2,830 lbs.
For those who haul serious weight, this tire’s Load Range E (10-ply rating) design provides the toughness to carry up to 2,830 lbs at 80 psi. The reinforced sidewall stays stable under repeated load cycles while the dual-cord body casing adds strength and damage resistance. The high-load tread compound keeps heat under control when towing heavy gear.
Whether you’re parking near saltwater or driving through wet roads, the aluminum wheel’s black machined finish resists rust and road grime. Steel lug nut inserts protect the bolt holes from wear and reduce re-torquing needs, so the wheel stays tight and looking sharp over time.
Every assembly includes Maxxis’s 1-Year No Excuses Guarantee for free replacement if a tire fails under normal use, plus 2 years of roadside assistance throughout the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. You also get a 5-year limited warranty on the radial ST tire and a lifetime structural warranty on the wheel for lasting peace of mind wherever you travel.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"
