15" x 6" Trailer wheel has 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern and 4.25" pilot diameter. Rustproof aluminum wheel has a 6-spoke design in black. Steel inserts in lug nut wells secure wheel.
Features:
Specs:
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Lionshead, 15 inch by six inch glossy black Eagle aluminum trailer wheel with a six on 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now this is an aluminum wheel. It's durable, lightweight, and rust proof. We mentioned it's the Eagle series, which has a split six spoke design, has a glossy black finish and you can see they do a machine edge on the spokes and a little bit on the lip here. So you can see it gives a little bit of a shine to the wheel.
They do use an automotive grade clear coat finish on the front to help protect from scuffs and scratches. Now, one of the nice features I like on this wheel is these pressed in steel inserts in the lug nut wells. They're designed to help keep your wheel securely in place on the trailer hub. Basically what they help is when you put this up on your trailer hub, the studs come through, put your lug nuts on, torque your lug nuts down. Those steel inserts in there prevent the holes from elongating or wearing down over time.
So eliminates the need for constant retightening of your lug nuts. Now if you notice the valve stem right over here, it is included. It's pre-installed into the wheel. Now the center cap is not included. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separate on our website.
You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that'll have the same diameter as this pilot hole. 'Cause when you put your center cap in, it'll come through this pilot hole. Pilot hole diameter right here is 4.25 inches. This wheel does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications and the SAE J1204 standards. Few measurements on this, we're gonna do the diameter and the width.
And when you measure the diameter, it's measured inside to inside on the wheel. So if we take our tape measure and if we go all the way across, you can see there's your 15 inch diameter. On the width, same way, you'll measure inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat, six inches wide. Now the bolt pattern on this is a six on 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern. And if you want to measure that on a wheel, that's an even number of lugs, like in this case, six, it's pretty easy because the lug holes you can see are directly across from each other. So when you go to measure, pick any hole, let's say this one, measure from the center of the hole to the center of the hole right across from it. So this measures 5 1/2 inches. So that means it's a six lug, 5 1/2 bolt pattern. This will use a wheel lug size of 1/2 inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 2,830 pounds. But that should do it for a look at this Lionshead, 15 inch by six inch glossy black Eagle aluminum trailer wheel with the six on 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern.
Wheels look just as expected. Wheels are shipped in a cardboard box without any protection for the front of the wheels. Two of the four have scratches.
They fit great. Came on time. And look great on my fifth wheel
good customer service. Kimberly and George were excellent. Had issue with 1 rim but they had it resolved same day. Smooth ordering process and quick shipping. Will use E trailer again.
Nice looking wheel and lightweight. I like the steel seats on the lug holes too.
Ordered 5 of these wheels to upgrade those on a boat trailer. One of the wheels that was shipped was a different style than what was ordered. Placed a call and had the correct wheel delivered in a few days with a return label for the odd wheel. Great customer service seems to be a thing of the past but it is still alive and well at etrailer.com.
Nice looking aluminum wheel. Upgrading from 15 to 16" wheels. As usual, eTrailer shipped fast, kept me in the know with what is going on and was super helpful with questions that I had prior to my purchase.
Excellent products ..great price ! Fast shipping ..wheels fit perfect and looks great !
Nice looking, well made wheel. Like the fact that they were 16 x 7 and not 16 x 6 like my previous aluminum wheels sidewall stays a little bit more true on these The steel Pressed in inserts are nice too. I coat those in a little tef gel since this Trailer is in and out of saltwater.
