The Kenda 5.70-8 bias trailer tire has a 4-ply rating and carries up to 715 lbs at 50 psi, matched to an 8" x 3-3/4" galvanized steel wheel rated for 910 lbs. The bias construction uses thick nylon cords layered at a 30- to 45-degree angle in a crisscross pattern. Fitment is straightforward with this setup. The steel wheel uses a 4 on 4" bolt pattern, 1/2"-20 wheel bolts, and a 2.5" pilot diameter with zero offset. Lug-centric mounting means it centers on the studs and tightens down easily—just torque to 50-75 ft-lbs and you’re good to roll.

1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Kenda 5.70-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" Galvanized Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range B Seems to be of good quality. Will be in & out of saltwater. Should hold up fine with regular maintenance.
Use them on a jetski trailer, in brackish water. The galvanized rims last much longer than painted rims.
Shipping was fast, price was good, but the galvanization on the rims of the tire/rim assemblies I purchased looked like it didn’t take well and was sprayed with cold galvanization paint to finish the job. I needed them for a long trip so I didn’t have time to call and ask what was going on. The

Replaces a spare tire and rim on a 1956 Holsclaw boat trailer. It was the original one that came with the trailer when my father bought it. I like the galvanized wheel and quality of the tire on this one. Should last another 69 years.
Tires received were almost 1 1/2 years old. This means a significant portion of their life is gone. Trailer tires need to be replaced 5 years after their manufacture date regardless of use. So I have received a tire with ~20% of its life gone due to its age. I would expect tires to be sold within a more reasonable period.
