Use the space on your boat's transom to your advantage by installing this sturdy, rustproof aluminum fishing rod holder. Built-in gimbal bar keeps rod stable inside the 1-5/8" diameter tube. Angled 5 degrees out from the mounting base.

Specs:
The bolt-on design of this rod holder provides nearly limitless mounting options. This rod holder can be installed vertically or at a slight angle on your boat's transom. Its built-in 5-degree angle allows the rod to be positioned slightly outward when installed on a straight transom wall. If you have an angled transom wall, the 5-degree angle of the holder will pair with the transom's angle, allowing for an even greater outward angle for your rod. This holder is also great for boats that have outboard engines because you can easily install it on either side of the engine.
Rustproof Aluminum Construction
This rod holder is made with marine-grade, anodized aluminum, which is highly resistant to corrosion, even when exposed to saltwater. Aluminum is naturally rustproof, unlike steel, which must be treated with a rust-resistant coating that can break down over time.
A gimbal bar is built into the holder, creating a virtually indestructible anchor for your fishing rod. The bar will keep your rod from spinning inside the holder, and it will help boost the overall strength and rigidity of the rod holder. And, the holder's open bottom lets water drain.
A protective, UV-resistant vinyl liner sits inside the holder to help keep your rod free of scratches and scuffs.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the CE Smith fishing rod holder. This holder is going to mount onto your transom. It's going to allow you to fish hands free, or have multiple lines in the water at the same time.It is right at 10 inches in total length, and it will allow you to hold one fishing pole at a time. As you can see our bracket here, if it's mounted vertically, we've got about a five degree angle. And so this will work for both your straight and angled transom walls to help create a nice varied trolling speed. This is made of a marine grade anodized aluminum.
So, it's going to be rustproof and corrosion resistant, even in your saltwater environment. So, if you're out on the ocean and you're not going to have to worry about it, corroding, it's going to do a good job for you. You can see it does have a polished mirror finish. So, it's going to look really nice on your boat.On the bottom, you can see, we do have an open bottom here and that's going to allow our water to drain out of the holder. We also have a gimbal bar here.
That's going to help keep our rod from spinning. This gimbal bar is a quarter of an inch thick and five sixteenth of an inch tall. And the other side, you can see that we do have a vinyl liner here. That's going to help protect your rod from any scratches or scuffs while you're out there on the water. With that vinyl in there, our inner diameter is going to be right about one in five eighth of an inch.
So, make sure that your rod will fit with that.On the blade here, you can see, we do have an integrated hole. That's going to allow us to easily hook a strap or a bungee to secure our rod. This hole is seventh sixteenth of an inch in diameter. Of course, the bungee or strap that you use is not going to be included, so you will have to either purchase that separately or provide it for yourself. As far as getting this installed, it's going to be very simple. We're just going to mount it onto our transom.
The hardware is not included, but it should be able to just use a few bolts to get it mounted in place. Our mounting dimensions, it's right about three inches center-to-center in height, and then our width looking at right about two and three quarters of an inch with our mounting holes here. And that is really all there is to our CE Smith fishing rod holder. So, I think there's going to be a great option for you if you're looking to mount a holder on your boat, to make sure that you can use multiple fishing lines at the same time, or if you're just wanting to sit back and relax and let the line just rest in the water while you're trolling. So, this is going to be a great option for you, for all of you fishermen out there. That's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
We received our transom mount fishing rod holders and find them to be of EXCELLENT quality. Our product was backordered and the company made every effort to keep us informed of delivery. We will use etrailer.com for other purchases for our boat.
Believe it or not, these we purchased because I was tired of painting and covering up rust stains on my flag stanchions. I live by the ocean and am proud of my country and display the flag daily. Although much more money than I wanted to spend, they were well worth it. I have been asked without solicitation by my neighbors where I purchased my holders so they can also purchase them.
Fit perfectly! We love it.
Very well made product.
very strong works great
Cheapest price I could find and arrived in less than 48 hours everything was as expected great way to business
