Today we're gonna take a look at the black plastic E-Z lube center cap plug for Americana wheels. Now, this part is constructed of a black ABS plastic. Now, this cap is installed on wheel center caps that have a one and seven eighths inch diameter hole in the center of the cap, and it's used on trailers that have E-Z lube axles. E-Z lube axle has a grease zerk fitting on the end of the spindle that allows you to pump grease into the bearings without having to remove the wheels, and this plug is what'll pop out of the center cap and allows you access to that grease sit fitting.Outer diameter on this plug is two and three sixteenths of an inch. We mentioned it's designed to fit into a one and seven eighths diameter hole. It does fit Americana center caps with outer diameter of 3.19 inches up to 5.15 inches, and it is for a quantity of one plug.But that should do it for the review on the black plastic E-Z lube center cap plug for Americana wheels..

Fantastic!! I was doubtful these would fit my wheels, TSW Hockenheim Type R 16x7.5, but... they did!! Arrived on time and in perfect condition. Applied the "Vintage" Mazda Emblem on them and viola!!

This is more of a review of etrailer than the center cap plug. When i ordered the parts originally, i asked for chrome. I received an email right away from George J telling me they were unavailable, but he would fill the order as soon as they became available. After waiting a couple weeks, i decided to change the order for chrome plugs, to black ones. I emailed George J and he responded back they were in stock, and he would send out asap...sent them, and i received a couple days later ! George J...you rock ! etrailer has always provided great service for me, Thanks!
Good product, just wish it were made of metal rather than plastic.

Fit like a glove.
The cap fit on the wheel cap but to remove them the plastic edges are too thin and split. They are not the exact replacement. I have a new set which are made of metal and have a little indent to pry them off to get at the grease fitting behind.

I ordered the rubber grease plug/cap and the plastic snap in cap for the chrome cone on the wheel, they came quick and fit perfect.

I ended up at my trailer place of purchase for maintenance and they put theirs on so now I have mine as spares
EXACTLY what I wanted and I think it's because the description made it so easy to shop and buy. Fast service. Great product. Fairly sturdy. Will see if it holds up to my application. Going to use it as a temporary center cap on my work car.

Over a year
The cap was a very tight fit, which is what I would want. Very happy with how they look and we are hitting the road next week so I will see how they do.
