This 8" long straight equalizer connects 1-3/4" wide double-eye springs so the load transfers smoothly from one axle to the other. It helps the trailer ride steady by distributing weight evenly and letting each axle move just enough to keep things level and under control.
A weak equalizer can wear out fast, especially under constant load. This one is made from durable ductile iron that stands up to heavy use. The black powder coat finish adds a layer of protection against rust and road grime, keeping the part looking good and lasting longer.
Getting the right fit makes installation smooth and performance better. This equalizer is designed for 1-3/4" wide double-eye springs with 9/16" spring eyes. It features a 9/16" center bolt hole and 9/16" outer bolt holes spaced 8" apart, with 4" between the center and each end hole. Everything lines up the way it should for a solid, reliable connection.
This equalizer ties directly into standard suspension hardware. The springs attach to each end with shackle straps (sold separately), and the center mount hangs from a center hanger (sold separately). Once installed, it lets your suspension move freely to absorb shock and keep the trailer tracking true.

Had some issues understanding the electric over hydraulic pump wiring but was referred to the right person to walk me through it.
I had to replace one on my 2 horse trailer. etrailer made it easy when I ordered them. Replaced both side and everything bolted right up. Used so far for a year with no problems. I replaced all the bolts and sleeves. Perfect time to do it since your tearing into it. It will be trouble free for years. Excellent product.

After a year I haven't used the part ordered. But it is exactly what I was expecting and as described. Maybe I can order some motivation to use parts and repair trailer!
I used these to "level springs that had overly tall shackle brackets installed which rotated the axle seat downward too much. Worked out great.

I have a huge old miley horse trailer that has seen better days and all of the leaf springs, bearings, etc needed to be replaced, It wasnt like I could go into a name brand parts store to get them either. So when my husband told me he found everything he needed on etrailer.com, I was relieved. I am very happy with the price and the delivery time. The fact that delivery was free was definitely a bonus because the parts were very heavy. I was a little worried about the condition of the parts when they came, the boxes were pretty beat up (very heavy) but so far I haven't found any problems.
The holes are not round, therefore the bushings are pinched. I am going to put them in anyway because I replaced the nylon bushings with bronze bushings. They will work for a while.
Third time I have ordered from e trailer and the first time they sent a trailer hitch reciever that was way out of square. Returned it and they sent another. That one was also out of square. Thankfully I had tools at work and could make it work. Now this time I ordered two of the same equalizers and they sent two completely different ones.
