Question:
The trailer is listed as a 1973 Bara LS on the title, but I cannot find the make and model anywhere on the trailer. The tires are 15 inch and are spaced center to center about 33 - 34 The springs are double hole 27 inch center to center x 1- 3/4 inch with six sheaves The axles have 10 inch x 2-1/4 inch Dexter brakes so I assume that they are also Dexter axles The axles tubes are square with the bearing spindle shafts over the top and the springs mounted below the axle tubes. From the bottom of the frame to the equalizer pivot is 5.5, the equalizer is broken but appears to be about 4 inch to the center of the pivot and did not appear to have a rib as your products appear to have. The bottom of the links are about 2 inch above the pivot point. The links are about 4 inch long with the holes 2-3/4 inch center to center but severely worn. I would like to get your recommendation to repair the suspension so that the trailer is at least usable as a utility trailer or shop hauler. I have repaired the roof and other cosmetic stuff like lights. I have about $2000 into the trailer including labor and paint to convince my wife to allow me to keep it around and found that the body and frame had been cleaned up previously, new floor, some paint and rewiring but the repair did not include fixing the brakes which appear to be severely rusted and have not been wired into the wiring harness, but the drums appear to be ok and not seriously damaged. I would like suggestions about reasonably priced suspension that would work and brakes if you can tell what it would need. If it looks feasible or if you have more questions, I can provide pictures, but I have to get them assembled first.

Thank you for all of the info! Based on what you told me and the pictures you sent in separately I believe I know what you need.
The brakes you need are the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA which measure 10" x 2-1/4" and have a 4 bolt flange mounting pattern. I also recommend replacing your hub and drum assemblies as well. For this the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-K should work but you will want to verify that your trailer currently uses inner bearing # L68149 (ID of 1.378"), outer bearing # L44649 (ID of 1.063"), and grease seal # 58846 (ID of 1.719"). If you can't find the numbers on your part numbers just use a digital caliper to verify that you spindle matches up the inner diameters I just mentioned (see attached photo).
For a replacement double-eye leaf spring we have the Universal Group # SP-210275 which is 27" long x 1-3/4" wide and rated for a 3,500 lb axle.
From the way you described your equalizer I believe you were talking about a straight equalizer like the TruRyde # TREQR89 which measures 8" long from one center eye to the center eye on the opposite side. Since you have an older trailer you may also want to swap out your bolts, shackle straps, and hangers. If this is the case then we have the Tandem-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit # APT1 which matches up with your measurements perfectly. You will have to have a professional welder cut your old hangers off and weld your new hangers on though.
Attached are some videos that you can check out but we also have more info on each of the product pages that you can reference.
