When your trailer’s suspension isn’t tracking straight, it’s usually the hangers that are out of place or worn down. This kit brings everything back into alignment with (2) 1-1/2" tall front hangers and (2) clip-style rear hangers made for 1-3/4" slipper springs. The setup mounts directly to the frame of your single-axle trailer and keeps the spring ends moving smoothly for a controlled, balanced ride.
Whether you’re hauling light gear or a heavier build, this hanger kit is designed to take it. It’s rated for single axles from 2,000 lbs up to 8,000 lbs, giving it plenty of strength for most single-axle applications. The construction holds up under load so your suspension geometry stays correct mile after mile.
Getting the spacing and hardware right can be tricky, but this kit makes it straightforward. You get (2) 3" long x 9/16" diameter shackle bolts and (2) 9/16" diameter locknuts that match perfectly with the hangers and 1-3/4" wide springs. With the included mounting specs—23" or 28" between hangers depending on spring model—you can set it up accurately before final welding.
Running too low risks bottoming out; too high throws off the balance. This hanger kit gives either 3-3/4" or 4" of clearance between the trailer frame and axle depending on axle size. That keeps your suspension travel right where it should be so the trailer tracks level and rides steady over bumps or rough ground.

Perfect fit to the springs I ordered. Not to small. And didn't need to alter in any way to get them to fit. Did have to weld them on, but I believe that makes for easier installation.

Picked this up for a slipper spring install. The brackets are both made of some quality thick steel. The larger bracket has 2 bolt holes in the top for easy mounting (or an additional place to weld). Overall a good deal.

Installed 2 new slipper leaf springs that had broken on a 1977 Skipper-B boat trailer. Total time for installation was less than 2 hours, product is as good as new.
Everything came as ordered , Good reliable service.Purchased the 2" hangers to weld on to the bottom of my factory hangers to give it 2" lift for more tire clearance.Im seeing hangers breaking off the frame of big trailers when the axles are flipped from the extra leverage being put on them so I didn't want to go that route .When axles are flipped the frame needs additional bracing so keep an eye on them. thank you
Appear to be well made. My only criticism is that the manufacturer does not de-burr sharp edges. I don't criticize that for safety, but for the reason that overtime it will dig into the slipper spring. But I will simply file that down before I install and paint.

I honestly havent finished the trailer yet. But as far as quality of the parts and assembling them, I am very happy.
This kit is exactly what was needed to build a trailer from a recycled jet ski axle and suspension. It's actually better and safer because the original trailer (from a corporate builder) had used welding tabs and bolts to "secure" the springs and pivot point. This kit will be welded on and I feel very confident my dingy and motor along with a gear box will be safe and road worthy.
I used these on my hay trailer when I replaced the leaf springs to increase capacity. My only complaint is that I lost one of the bolts. The nuts really need to be Nylocks to prevent loosening from vibration and spring limit impacts.
Plus:
Good products for a super low price. Accomplished the goal of bringing life back to a dead trailer. The leaf springs ride much better than the stock rubber torsion axle. The new hubs and bearings roll much easier than the worn out ones they replaced.
Minus:
A little disappointed in the spring bushing. It seemed like cheap plastic and was quite a bit larger than the bolt so it fit loosely. This was the only real negative I have about the purchased, and that's pretty minor.
Tips for etrailer:
Providing a height of the spring would make spring selection easier. In our case we were starting with scratch for mounting springs, no preexisting mounting hardware. Knowing the height of the spring from mount to axle would have been helpful in selecting a spring for the proper ride height. In a snowmobile trailer application an inch or two in height makes a bit difference in approach angle when loading a sled. This was about the only measurement not listed for springs so we guessed, and it came out well for us in the end.
Product shipped in great timing and arrived in perfect condition. Exactly what I adked for and look forward to building my boat trailer with my new springs.

This was an easy install. All of the parts worked great and my trailer build went very well and the product is holding up great
Very well made components
I have ordered several items from etrailer.com and they have all been top quality and have all arrived at my house within a week of being ordered. Most items are delivered within 5 days.
I will definitely be back for just about everything I need for my trailer. I am essentially rebuilding and modifying an old boat trailer and converting this to a utility trailer so its gonna need a lot of work and this is the place to get it.
I will have to wait for another order to post pictures because nothing is actually together yet. I am still in the process of layout and modification for assembly.

Well its been a year now and my trailer project is finished. I have since ordered a number of other products from etrailer and all of them have been top quality and work exactly as stated they would. I would also like to make note of the outstanding followup by representatives of this company. I am not seeing anywhere to attach pictures so I will have to find out how before I can show you all how nice this trailer turned out.
Price competitive. Using eTrailer parts in my products, specially designed trailers for power sports vehicles. Check out [site], a better way to move your toys without it taking over your garage.
Trailers are just coming to market this spring in power sports dealers in the Midwest.
Exactly the parts I needed to make some weight/balance changes to my Drag Week trailer.
Parts were fine, which is key. BUT, the box they arrived in was not securely taped shut, with only the mostly-torn shipping label holding it partially closed; I was surprised the small parts inside hadn't fallen out through the gap. And, the parts were just thrown loose into the box, rattling around -- no paper or any other packaging to restrain them.
Great kit to help bring an old, broken trailer back to life. I welded the hangers and sliders on the trailer frame and with the addition of new springs, it’s almost up and running. It will get a fresh coat of primer, paint, and sturdy wooden floor.
