I'm not sure of which exact leaf spring you have but in regards to welding the hangers to the frame, it's best to mock them up with the spring you plan to use prior to welding. This is the case for the Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for 1-3/4" Slipper Springs part # APS3SE. If you want to measure you can do so from the eyelet to the center of the flat part that the keeper rides on and that will give you the approximate leaf spring hanger spacing.
