When you’re locking an axle to a spring pack, you want it solid. This U-bolt plate gives that strong connection by pairing with two 1/2" diameter U-bolts (sold separately) to clamp everything together. It helps keep the 2" diameter axle tight to the 1-3/4" wide spring so the suspension works like it should without shifting or loosening over time.
Corrosion eats away at ordinary steel, especially around water and road grime. This plate is made from galvanized steel that’s hot-dipped in a 3-mil to 5-mil zinc coating. That thick layer protects it from rust, making it ideal for trailers that see rain, salt, or launch ramps. It’s a setup meant to last through seasons of hard use.
Getting the fit right matters when you’re tightening down suspension parts. This plate is sized exactly for a 2" diameter axle and a 1-3/4" wide leaf spring. The bolt holes are drilled at 2-5/8" center-to-center with 9/16" openings, so everything lines up cleanly with matching 1/2" U-bolts.
The flat plate measures 4" long overall and 3-7/8" wide, giving just enough surface area for a stable grip without adding extra bulk. That simple, sturdy design keeps the assembly neat and low-profile while providing the strength needed to keep the axle and spring securely paired.

Best prices I have found on trailer parts, communication and shipping was spot on. Will recommend to anyone
Rebuilt trailer suspension, should be good for another 20 years. One of my old springs snapped.
This plate is not sturdy at all plate was bending when tightening and axles were shifting
Outstanding product, delivery time, product cost, and above all, communication. 5 star company!
Good product with zinc oxide coating to resist corrosion. I would give this product a better rating but truthfully, it needs to be thicker to resist bending when the 1/2-13 u-bolts are tighten to recommended torque specifications.

The two plates were joined together and appear to have been dipped together and could not be separated. Trailer has sent out replacements immediately

Sorry to hear that, Ivan. What were you torquing the u-bolts down to? And was this a round or square axle?
