Question:
I am rebuilding a boat trailer to be used in salt water. I am concerned about rust long-term. I am looking to get my 1-3/4inch round axle mounted onto my leaf springs. So my question... are these parts galvanized? APUBR-10 and TRSS175 Thank you,

Expert Reply:
For a galvanized U-bolt for a 1-3/4 inch axle you would want the part # CE15285GA. For a galvanized plate then you would want the part # CE20023G.
The part # TRSS175 is not galvanized since it is weld-on application and welding galvanized metal can be dangerous to breathe.
