Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the 2 1/4 inch by 4 1/4 inch trailer square U-bolts for a quantity of two. Now, this part number includes the two U-bolts, the four Nyloc nuts, the four washers. And these are square U-bolts, so they're used for a variety of things. Basically, they can be used on your boat trailer to secure bunks.
If your utility trailer has square framing, then you can use these to attach items to your trailer. And, in some cases, they can be used to attach a square tube axle to the trailer frame. These parts have a zinc plating on them to resist corrosion. The diameter on these are 3/8 of an inch for the rod size, and then the overall width, and it's gonna be measured inside to inside, is right at 2 1/4 inches. The overall length, again measured inside to inside, 4 1/4 inches long.
But that should do it for a look at the 2 1/4 inch by 4 1/4 inch trailer square U-bolt for a quantity of two.

The product was exactly what I ordered and matched the website's photos perfectly. The brackets I ordered are durable, and of excellent quality for my application.
When I placed my online order, the web site showed that the quantity I wanted was in stock, but that turned out to be incorrect. To their credit, they immediately called me to let me know, shipped what they did have in stock, and followed up every few days with status on the order balance. I was not charged until my order had been filled, and all of the brackets were in my possession. I highly recommend this company.
Product seems pretty good. Really the only thing I don't like about them is it doesn't have any type of max torque spec on the package. I would guess about 30 foot pounds based on other online research. It would just be nice to have it on the package.
I used these U-bolts not on a trailer but to secure the front spring on my '32 Ford. 2-1/4" is the perfect width to fit the cross-member of the frame, and 4-1/4" is the length I needed to accommodate spacers between the spring and the frame for additional ground clearance. They worked out perfectly for this application.
These were bought to replace the same rusted parts on my trailer.
I had trouble finding them, even on your site, but finally came across them while searching for spring seats for my new axle. They fit perfectly, just what the doctor ordered.
Looks to be a great set of u bolts and they even came with nylon locking nuts whereas all the other bolts I looked at only came with split lock washers. Thats a real plus. Looked a lot of other places before I could locate the proper size. Thankfully etrailer stocked them.

These square ubolts are exactly what I needed. They appear to be durable and I like that they come with washers and nylock nuts. Faster delivery than expected. Very satisfied with this order. ??

The u-bolts I purchased are nice but I think all sizes should be available in stainless steel and come with bolt plates. As for customer service it could not be any better! Tori and Leslie both went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed to complete the job. These ladies should be given raises for what they probably have to put up with on a daily basis! Product was exactly what I needed. I just didn't notice the quantity in the description. I only needed 2 total which I see now is in the Description there for I ordered 2 and now I have 4. Darn it, I wished I looked a bit more closely.

As described .... wish they had the plate to go under the beam that they are attached to, but I had some that I could use.

What kind of company contacts you one year after the sale to see if you are still satisfied with their product? etrailer did. Great customer service and yes, the brackets I bought from them were put to immediate use, still look brand new and are as durable as they were on the first day.
