When your trailer measures more than 80" wide, you need a solid ID light setup that keeps you compliant and visible. This red 3-light bar measures 15-9/16" long x 1-3/16" wide x 1-5/16" deep, meeting lighting requirements for wider trailers. Each of the three lights functions together to clearly mark the rear of your rig, helping other drivers see you in low light or at night. It’s a straightforward solution that does the job right.
You don’t want your lights giving out just because of rain or rough roads. The white metal housing on this bar is rugged and built for all environmental conditions. It shields the internal components from impacts and corrosion, keeping the lights protected where plastic housings might crack or wear out. It’s made to stand up to regular use and stay reliable over time.
Instead of tossing the whole bar when a bulb burns out, you can easily replace just what’s needed. Each of the three lights has a replaceable lens and an easy-to-change A193 bulb. The snap-on design makes it simple to swap parts without tools or rewiring. Replacement lenses are available as part #A68RB, and full lamp assemblies as #M68RB, so upkeep is fast and cost-effective.
Installation doesn’t get much easier than this. The light bar surface mounts on 6-1/8" centers and uses a single lead wire for power, grounding through its mounting hardware. That means fewer connections to manage and less time wiring things up. With only one wire to hook up, you’ll have it shining bright in no time.
At just 1.0 amp total draw at 12.8 volts, this incandescent setup gives strong output without heavy strain on your system. You get consistent red illumination across all three lights while keeping current use reasonable—a nice balance of brightness and efficiency for your trailer lighting setup.

Here we have Optronics 3 Light Truck and Trailer Identification Light Bar with white base, part number MC77RB. Each separate light has a user replaceable lens and bulb. Its designed to surface mount on your truck or trailer using mounting holes that are 7 inches on center. This light bar is used to identify trucks and trailers that are over 80 inches wide. It's a single wire design meaning it will ground through the mounting hardware you use on the metal backing bracket, and we'll get our power through this single power wire lead.
Next we are going to hook up a power supply so you can see what the light looks like once its lit up. We'll connect our ground to the mounting bracket, and connect the loose power wire lead to a power supply. Next we'll turn off the overhead lights so you can see how bright the light is. It's perfect for what I need.
Lights work great, but it does not have a ground wire. Assembly grounds through mounting bracket. Light will not work if mounted to plastic or wood.

The light can still be mounted to wood or plastic surfaces with the addition of a ground wire. Take a wire and crimp an eye ring terminal on either end. One will be attached to the trailer frame, the other should make contact with the hardware and grounding points on the light. You can Y or T the wire if needed to make additional ground contacts on the light. Remember a ground requires clean, metal to metal contact. Paint or rust can interfere.
Found the exact replacement for my 2010 Andersen 6X10 Utility trailer rear position lights. Quick delivery and very resonable priced. Worked perfectly.

Would have liked a LED version of this light. This was a perfect replacement for the existing light down to the spacing of the mounting screws.

Economical three light bar to replace the original (plastic) one on my trailer. This one will last much longer.

Decent product, but NO GROUND WIRE - which my boat trailer wiring harness provides. Item is powder coated/painted white, so I'm not sure how it would function on a trailer whose frame is grounded. I drilled a small hole, sanded the area clean of paint, and secured the white wire to a through-bolted stainless bolt. Works.
The same light bar I had on the trailer. This one the mounting holes were slightly closer together, so I had to widen them a little bit with the Dremel. Other than that, they are installed and work fine.
