This light puts out a clean, bright amber glow using 4 efficient LEDs that last up to 50 times longer than old incandescent bulbs. At just 0.12 amps of draw at 12.8V, it gives you plenty of brightness without pulling much power. No bulbs to replace and no fragile filaments to break—just steady light every time you flip on the switch.
The fully sealed housing and lens make this light waterproof and submersible, so moisture won’t reach the diodes or circuit board. That makes it a solid choice for trailers that see water, dirt, or road grime. The durable polycarbonate housing keeps everything protected and clear even after repeated exposure to the elements.
With its chrome bezel, this light gives a polished, finished appearance once mounted. Measuring 6-5/8" long by 2-3/16" tall and only 3/4" thick, it sits close to the surface for a tidy fit. The bezel adds a bit of shine while also helping the light blend neatly into whatever it’s mounted on.
Mounting is easy thanks to the surface-mount design. It requires just a 1-1/2" diameter hole for the wiring and uses a 2-wire setup with 0.180" male bullets—black for power and white for ground. The hole spacing is 4-5/8" center to center, which helps line up your install cleanly without guesswork.
This P2-rated light produces a 45-degree beam on either side of center for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. It’s bright when viewed straight on, making it ideal as a clearance or side marker light when properly mounted. Pair another unit if you want both functions covered on your trailer for full visibility all around.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Optronics M1 LED clearance or side marker light with the included chrome bezzle. The little trailer light is going to serve as either a side marker light or clearance light. The chrome bezzle is this piece that goes around the light. It just adds a clean, finished look. The unit is sonically sealed so it has a waterproof design when it comes with the housing and the lens unit so it is submersible. Now it's an LED system.
LED's are going to make replacements for incandescent lights. The last much longer, they burn brighter, they're more efficient, and you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs and you don't have to worry about bridle filaments. It's going to feature the amber lens. That's a polycarbonate lens as well as a polycarbonate housing when inaudible 00:00:39 construction. It's a surface mount installation so it mounts on the surface of your trailer but the installation will require a small hole for the wiring to pass through. Your hardware's not included.
It's going to feature two mount holes; one right here and one right here. Remove that bezzle. It just snaps on and off. That's a plastic piece. You can remove that to gain access to the mountable locations from the front. Two wire design; one for power, one for ground.
It does not matter which one you hook up to which function. They're going to be featuring the 0.18 male bullets on them. If you want this for a hardwired application, you can cut those off and then strip the wiring back. This is a P2 rated light. It's SAE and Department of Transportation compliant. Take a look at the overall measurements real quick, starting with the overall length.
Measuring edge to edge, it's going to measure about 6 5/8 of an inch long by 2 and 3/16 of an inch tall and then the thickness. It's really low profile light. It's only going to measure about 5/8 of an inch thick. The mount holds on the unit are separated on center by about 4 and 5/8 of an inch. That's going to contain a total of 4 diodes or 4 LED's and then the power draw of the unit at 12.8 volts is 0.12 amps. We're going to go ahead and hook it up to our external power source that way you can see what it looks like with power running to it. Then we'll also be about to turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a low light setting. You can see here that the light sends out a night consistent signal. Again, it's going to contain 4 diodes or 4 LED's. The multi diode design really does a great job at optimizing the overall light output of the unit. That's going to do it for today's look at he Optronics M1 LED clearance or side marker light with the included chrome bezzle.
