Specs:
The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.
A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.

I bought a pair of these for my old Airstream. The first one went (curb side) on ok. I had to drill extra holes in the skin to facilitate the wires. It looks fabulous.
The street side was not so good. The existing wires exit the skin near the mounting screws. I tried adding holes for the new screws but they hit a support. The design of this product will not cover the old wire holes and the trailer is not set up to allow the large holes required for the wires on the product. I’m back to conventional clearance lights.
Awesome and very bright.
I purchased these clearness lights for my 1950 spartan royal mansion I love the brightness at night but the slim clean look in daylight modern but safe with a little vintage show etrailer delivers quickly looking forward to doing business with them soon thanks Bronson
I purchased this item for my Scamp 13ft. camper. Installation was a breeze and the wiring simple. At night they really set off the camper.
This is a very nice light and fits perfectly. Just as represented.
Great.
Very good to work with
The size was right, and the brightness of the LED light, let's people know there is a trailer in front of them, especially when braking, or making a turn
Much brighter than my previous tail lights. Easy to install. Would definitely buy again!
These side markers (both red and amber LED) are great for my 12' trailer. They have 3 LEDs (you can also get 4), and their size is perfect for a small trailer. The LED's are really bright, not only at night, but also during the day, so they are easily seen. I especially like the fact that they are sealed, so there should be no water intrusion problems in the future. I have included a few pictures, the first showing the round LED brake/turn/running/reverse lights (that I had purchased earlier from etrailer) with the red side marker mounted vertically on the outside. The second shows a side view of the red side marker light, and the 3rd picture shows the side marker mounted to a small piece of 1" X 1" x 1/8" aluminum angle which I painted black to match the mounting frame of the round LED lights. I mounted the LED side marker to one leg of the aluminum angle, then mounted the other leg with 1" standoffs to two holes already present on the black mounting frame of the round LED light. Although all the lights are sealed against water intrusion, I decided to mount them on each side of the trailer at the top of 2 PVC pipes, about 36" long each, where the lights would not be exposed to immersing in water when launching/retrieving a boat.
I installed these lights in a T@B teardrop camping trailer. The grommet would not work on this style trailer so I installed the lights using a silicone adhesive the same as the original Peterson lights. eTrailer delivered them in the same timely manner I have come to expect from them and the LEDs were easy to install. These lights are blindingly bright - simply amazing. I had rear lights with 1157 bulbs which I had upgraded to 2357 bulbs and equipped the tow vehicle with a powered converter but the light output was dim by today's standards. These lights are twice as bright on running lights and about 4 times brighter on the brake/turn signal elements. The thing we all fear when towing is being hit from behind by a driver that does not see our running, brake or turn signal lights in time. I know these lights will vastly improve the safety and visibility of our trailer. Thanks!
This fixture was the exact replacement for my 2011 Trailmanor 2720 trailer. The manufacturer had moved to a more modern looking fixture. I was even able to use the old chrome piece from the old fixture to keep a uniform age look. I installed a wireless rearview camera and needed a new fixture and its longer wires to make everything work. May look a little strange, but it works like a charm. E-Trailer service was excellent as usual.
I received the lights and tested
them; they worked fine. They are destined to be used on a car, not a
trailer. Side marker lights for cars/trucks are rare now because they are
incorporated into the front and rear light assemblies and rap around the
vehicle. The lights I ordered from you are the only ones I could find that
had a hole-mount pattern wide enough to clear the metal cutouts, under the
old lights, in the fenders of my car. I'm glad you have a huge selection to
choose from. I'm not sure when I'll get around to installing them. The car
is undergoing a restoration for the third time. All I know is the next time
I remove the stock side markers, they will shatter. Few trim parts are
available for this car these days and nylon snap-in mounting tabs dry rot
and break after a couple of decades. I bought this little car new 26 years
ago and took it around the world with me before I retired from the Air
Force.
I attached a picture of it from the last touchups 7 years ago. It won't quit
running so I keep giving it new birthdays. This little rat car has become a
part of my DNA.

Bought these to replace all of the single wire, ground to the trailer type lights that were on my boat trailer. They are bright and work very well. For mounting hardware, an 8-32 machine screw fits just right. Something to be aware of, they say it’s a flush mount, but it’s not with the wires sticking out the back of the light. Instead of drilling a relief in my trailer, I opted to use some aluminum cable stops as standoffs. See pictures to further explain. Worked great in the end. These are quite bright for marker lights and and perfect for what I wanted. ETrailer has prompt shipping as usual.
etailer has everything, even these tail lights for my Thule hitch Terrapin Cargo Box to replace the original sealed incandescent Tail Light Units.
I love LED lights and these are working great on my boat trailer. They're so much brighter than the incandescents.
These lights are of very good quality and are really bright. I use them on an early 70's Bronco for the front turn signals. Day or night, they are distinct and unique and best of all, . Definitely visibly on during the night AND the day (this can be seen in the photo taken on a Snow day, bright, while half way out of my garage). Great price for a great product
Definitely a major upgrade from the single bulbs that finally went out on my old trailer. Simple as can be when it comes to install them. I did have to run additional ground wires to get to get lights to work when the parking lights are on. Could have been due to the fact my trailer is a tilt trailer? No big deal just a heads up if anyone else is having the same problem. Pictures shows them with parking lights on and brake lights. They're bright that's for sure!
