It surface mounts to your trailer using 8-32 machine screws (hardware not included) and includes a snap-on chrome bezel for a finished look once it’s in place. The two-wire design is simple—just connect one to power and one to ground, and it works either way. No guessing or polarity worries.
You want other drivers to see your trailer clearly at night or in traffic, and this light takes care of that while staying legal. It’s DOT compliant and stamped right on the lens with “SAE P2 07 DOT.” The P2 rating means it shines at a 45-degree angle from centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage—bright enough for clearance or side marking when installed correctly.

After a year, the lights are still bright as ever. One of them even survived being drug down the highway for 100 yards when the PVC pole it was mounted to came out of its holding fixture!!

These side lights are bright LEDs and the amber ones have been submerged more than once-and are still working great!! The red side lights are mounted high on the vertical poles, so do not get submerged in water. However, all 4 side lights have been exposed to the weather for over a year, and all are still burning bright!! These are cool little LED lights!!
