Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Optronics 4 LED Oval Marker or Clearance Light. Now this oval LED marker or clearance light is going to be a simple yet durable option for you to consider if you're looking to add reliability and visibility to your trailer or vehicle. This does use four bright LEDs, as you can see here. And this is housed in a tough polycarbonate lens and body.
So this is built to handle bumps, road debris, and everyday wear. And what I would like to do, is you see how bright this is with my very bright overhead studio lights on. But I wanna go ahead and just turn my studio lights off here real quick, just to give you an idea of how bright this is. I'm gonna go back out to my wide view and you can see even from there that this is a bright light and I like to shine it on the wall behind me as well, just kind of give you an idea of the light that it casts. So these LEDs are obviously vibration-resistant.
They're gonna hold up really well for you over time. You're not gonna have to worry about replacing them like you do incandescent bulbs, so, and they're gonna be energy efficient as well. Installation's gonna be pretty straightforward. The light is surface-mounted, and the included bezel is going to let you get a clean, finished look once it's in place. And so this is plastic, but it's got a chrome finish to it, so it's gonna look really great when you have this mounted and installed.
And this comes with, let me go ahead and disconnect here real quick, just so you can see this a little bit clearer. This comes in two hardwired red leads, each ending in 0.180-inch male bullet connectors, as you can see there. And so because the wiring is non-polarized, either wire can be used as power or ground. So it's basically gonna be foolproof to install this. Obviously, it runs on your 12-volt DC power and it only pulls about 0.12 amps.
This does meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards P2 requirements, so this is gonna be compliant. It's gonna be an efficient choice for marker or clearance lighting. And let me go ahead and see if I can give you some measurements here real quick. So I'm going to face this to where I can see it. And so looking at the overall length, we're sitting right at six 5/8 inches. And then the overall height, right at about 2 3/16 inches. And this is right about, at the thickest point about an inch thick. And then some folks like to know the distance on those mounting holes. So on center, looks like I got a little piece of something there, on center, let me see if I can line that up here real quick. I'm gonna say that we're sitting right at about 4 1/2 inches center of mounting hole to center of mounting hole. This does not include any hardware, so you would have to source the hardware locally that would be best for your particular application. But if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this light or anything that we carry here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out, 'cause we do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, I do hope that our time together has been illuminating for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
