It’s designed as a non-submersible surface-mount light, so it installs flush against your trailer without needing a cutout. Once mounted with your hardware, it stays in place and ready for the miles ahead.
Visibility is key for safety, and this P2-rated light is engineered for just that. It produces a 90-degree beam pattern—45 degrees to either side of centerline—so it’s ideal as either a clearance or side marker light. DOT and SAE compliance means it meets lighting standards for brightness and coverage, helping other drivers see your trailer clearly in low-light conditions.
Installing this light is straightforward. At 3" in diameter and only 1/2" deep, it mounts flat using two holes spaced 2-3/8" apart (center to center) with just a small hole for wiring. The 5-1/2" lead wires give you enough length to make solid connections without hassle. It’s sold individually, so you can add exactly as many as you need for your setup.

This small round trailer light serves as either a side marker light or clearance light for your trailer. It's an LED system. LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, they burn brighter, they're much more efficient, you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments with an LED system.This unit features the nice amber lens, it mounts directly on the surface of the trailer, you got two mount holes on the unit, mounting hardware not included. Then it has this chrome bezel, this covers the mounting hardware and adds a clean finish look to the unit.When it comes to the wiring, this is designed for a 12 volt system, there's a two wire design so your white wires your ground wire, black wire is your power wire.
It's SAE and Department of Transportation compliant, and it is a P2 rated light.When it comes to the overall dimensions, starting with the overall diameter measuring edge to edge goin' in this direction, measures about 3 inches. The overall depth is about 7/16th to half inch deep. The diameter of just the lens that measures 2 inches, and the mount holes on the unit are separated on center by 2 and 3/8th inches.We're gonna go and hook it up to power that way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. We'll also be able to turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a lower light setting. So you can see here that it sends out a nice, bright, consistent signal.
When it comes to the LEDs or the diodes, this unit contains a total of seven LEDs, so the multi diode design really helps optimize the overall light output.That's gonna do it for today's look at the LED clearance or side marker light.

so far they seem good after being on the trailer for about a year now. i hope the chrome bezel holds up,thats why i changed them all. i do keep the trailer clean and waxed.

I bought this light as a replacement for my ATC 24' 405CH Trailer. This light is to replace the damaged left-rear lower marker/clearance light. The original light has a clear lens with red LEDs. This new light from etrailers has a red lens with (I assume) white LEDs. The lens shape is slightly different, but should pose no issue. The chrome bezel on the new light looks just like the original. Although this light is not like ATC OEM, it should work fine.
