The housing and lens are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit that keeps water out completely. It’s submersible, so even full immersion won’t harm the LEDs or circuit board. Once it’s installed, you don’t have to think twice about moisture taking it out.
Staying visible from multiple angles makes a big difference in safety. This PC-rated light spreads its beam 90 degrees to each side for a full 180 degrees of coverage. That means you’ll be clearly seen from the front or either side when it’s mounted properly as a clearance and side marker light. The wide beam helps make your trailer easy to spot at night or in low-light conditions.
No need to cut holes or deal with tricky recesses—this light installs flat against the surface using its integrated flange. Just line up the 2-5/8" mounting holes center to center, secure it with hardware (not included), and plug in a standard 2-prong PL-10 connector or weathertight plug (AL42PB sold separately). With its low 15/16" depth and durable polycarbonate housing, the finished setup looks clean and solid.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at an Optronics Round LED Clearance Side Market Light. This sonically sealed, waterproof LED marker and clearance light is a really great design. It's a nice addition to your trailer. It is an LED system. So LED's make great replacements for incandescent lights. LEDs last longer.
They burn brighter, so they put out more light. And they're much more efficient. They don't have as significant of a power draw compared to incandescent bulbs.Also, with LEDs, you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs. And you don't have to worry about brittle filaments. Now on the back side here, it has a two prong connection for a weather tight plug.
It does require a two port plug for connecting here at the back. And that is sold separately. It's not included. This unit's an amber polycarbonate lens. It's a really strong, durable design.
It has the black mounting flange with three mount holes for installation. Mounting hardware not included. It is a recessed mount installation. So you will need a hole cut out at the installation surface for this to fit into.It looks like you're going to need a 2 3/4 inch diameter hole. It is SAE and Department of Transportation compliant.
The overall diameter is about 3 1/2 inches. The diameter of just the light is about 2 1/2 inches. That's just the lens area. The mount holes on the unit are separated on center by 2 5/8 inches. We're going to go ahead and hook it up to power that way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. And then we'll also be able to turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a lower light setting.Now you can see that this light sends out a nice, clear consistent signal. It's a very good looking light. It contains a total of seven LEDs. There's seven diodes. So the multi-diode design really helps optimize the overall light output. The power draw at 12.8 volts is 0.057 amps and Optronics puts a limited lifetime warranty on all of their LEDs.That's going to do it for today's look at the Optronics Round LED Clearance and Side Marker Light.

I wish they didnt use the cheapest off color mounting nut and lock washer. Would be really smart to just use the right hardware so these self grounding posts dont always rust away. The whole reason im buying one in the first place.
I want to thank you for all your help with my trailer you were more helpful than you realize. So this is my trailer for a 22' Flats Cat shallow draft Catamaran. I totally dismantled my trailer and buffed by hand with a wire buffer and sand blasted in some spots and applied multiple coats of some very expensive galvanize paint (Z.R.C.). I installed all new C. E. Smith Carpet (about 80'), seven new LED waterproof lights, new springs, new equalizers, new tongue jack, new wench, new safety chain, new chain brackets, all new SS hardware and a 35' long wiring harness.
I was able to send only one review with a picture of the safety chain and brackets. I'm having a little trouble with the rest..oh some of these items were bought locally or from your competitors, until I found ETRAILER. Your prices were cheaper for the exact same things. The hardware was all mismatched. It should have been stainless steel hardware to prevent a bad ground over time. The bolt was a metric grade 5, and the nut was grade 8, the screws that hold the light to the mounting bracket are stainless.

Ordered the LED trailer pucks. They came really quickly, and the bonus was they already had dielectric grease on the female contacts and ready to install. I was pleasantly surprised.
The lights went on easy with one positive wire and ground. Being led makes it brighter than my old lights
Had trouble tracking these specific lights down online. I have bought a few things from etrailer before and they always deliver exactly as advertised. These are a direct replacement for the lights that I had which seemed impossible to find!
The light works excellent. Unfortunately after I took the old one off I realized that the original was never wired up correctly from the factory lol. New light is much brighter so I might go ahead and replace the other two. Received very quickly.
