Can the Mounting Plate Be Rotated on the Ark Xtreme Off-Road Tube Mount Swivel Trailer Jack?

Can the mounting plate for this jack be mounted either vertically for placement on a tall but narrow hitch beam or horizontally for a shorter but wider hitch bean?

Yes, you can Jim. The Ark Xtreme Off-Road Tube Mount Swivel Trailer Jack item # ARK47FR will work if the bracket is rotated. There's a few different bolt holes in the mounting bracket too so you'll have some range.

What kind of trailer do you plan on using this jack on?

Hey Jim, how did the fit go with the Ark Xtreme Off-Road Tube Mount Swivel Jack after rotating the bracket? Your update could make it easier for the next person working with a similar hitch beam.

@JerredH It was a bit tough to attach. My trailer has 2.5" square bar hitch and when the clamps are mounted to the wheeled plate, the 3" bolts that came with the unit were insufficient to allow washers/nuts to be added and tightened. It required a minimum of 4" length bolts which i purchased locally.
