What Jack will Replace My Fulton F2 on My 6" Trailer Frame?

Updated 08/07/2026 | Published 08/05/2026

Question:

Hello, My boat trailer uses a Fulton F2 jack and i cannot find any available online. The beams/frame on my trailer are 6 inches tall and I am finding it difficult to find anything that fits my beams too. Do you have a solution for me?

Hello again Cole,

The best option we have to replace your Fulton F2 jack is the Ark Xtreme Off-Road Swivel Trailer Jack # ARK47FR. It fits trailer frames from 3 inches to 6 inches tall, so it's an excellent choice for your trailer's 6-inch frame where many other jacks won't fit.

Don't let the "off-road" in the name fool you. It's built for rugged use, but it's a great option for any trailer, including a boat trailer. It features a sidewind handle, swivels up and out of the way when you're towing, and has a 1,650-pound capacity, making it a solid replacement for the hard-to-find Fulton F2.

What kind of boat are you towing and what body of water do you mostly get out on?

It is a large wakeboard boat (2005 Mastercraft X Star) and we use it in salt water so we go through one Jack a year usually regardless of the quality or name brand of the jack. Are there any cheaper options? Past trailers that I could fit cheapo jacks on lasted just as along in the salt.

@ColeD I did a little more digging, and I’m getting mixed information on whether it will fit the Fulton mount. If the snap ring on your Fulton mount measures 2-1/2", then the Dutton-Lainson Boat Trailer Jack w/ Wheel - Sidewind - Swivel - 12" Lift - 1,000 lbs # DL22560 will work. The 6" frame is really what’s limiting our options here. I reached out to our product development group about the 6" frame and asked if we could come up with a different bracket to accommodate it, either as an add-on bracket or by making a boat jack specifically designed for a 6" frame. At the very least, I got the wheels turning with our product development team, so hopefully we can come up with a solution for trailers like yours in the future! Let me know what your snap ring measures, I am not one to give up.
