Features to know about

Strong, Steady Towing: 7,000-lb Capacity Handles Heavy Loads

When you’re hauling serious weight, a solid axle makes all the difference. This round trailer axle beam is rated for 7,000 lbs and built from high-strength steel for dependable performance mile after mile. Its 3" diameter gives it the rigidity needed to stay stable under load, keeping your trailer tracking straight and your tires wearing evenly.

Simpler Maintenance on the Road: Easy Grease Spindles for Quick Lubrication

Keeping bearings lubricated shouldn’t mean tearing down your hub assembly. The Easy Grease spindles have built-in grease zerks that let you add fresh grease right through the spindle, making regular maintenance fast and clean. It’s a handy feature that helps extend bearing life and keeps your setup rolling smoothly.

Lower Deck Height, Easier Loading: 4" Drop Underslung Design

This axle’s 4" drop gives your trailer a lower deck height for simpler loading and unloading. The spring seats are welded to the underside of the axle, so leaf springs mount below for a lower ride height that’s easy to step into. It’s a simple way to load heavy gear or equipment without straining.

Built for Long Hauls: Zero-Camber Bend for Even Tire Contact

A bend near the center of the axle creates a zero-camber angle that keeps your tires flat against the pavement. This design promotes even tread contact and steady, in-line towing, giving you smoother acceleration and better control on long drives.

Reliable Fit and Finish: Welded Spring Seats and Certified Construction

Each axle comes with spring seats and spindles welded in place for a precise fit. The welds are 40% stronger thanks to a patented process that helps prevent spindle failure. This axle meets CSA, QAI, and SAE-N standards, giving you confidence that it’s built to perform under tough conditions.

Seems like a quality product. Did not come with nuts for the brake retaining studs though. They are 3/8-24 for anyone who needs to know. I couldn't find this info in the description.

The axles that I ordered last year are still working out great. But even better than the parts was the service I got from etrailer. It was so great working with a company who took the time to listen to my project and help me get the right parts I needed, especially coming right off the heels of a terrible experience dealing with bad information and wrong parts from a competitor. Even with some damages in shipping, the returns/ and replacements were no hassle, with most issues being quickly resolved and not even costing me any additional downtime. As a contractor keeping a small fleet rolling, your competency and professionalism have made me a customer for life!! You guys at etrailer will be my first stop for trailer parts.

Prompt well packaged and excellent qual ity

by:

Great price and good quality. 3500 lbs 4 in 74 in spring ct . Like center grease to rear bearing hole. Packed then removed zerk and then used bearing buddy

The product is very good, but the method of shipping was terrible. Originally, I ordered this about a month ago and the first one was shipped to me by USPS which I never received. I had to call Amy to re-order another one 2 weeks later. The second one was sent by UPS and I received it within four days. Amy is very helpful.

by:

WOW! Super fast shipping! Ordered on Saturday. They said it would be here on Friday, it showed up on Wednesday.

That makes sense. I have looked into the notes on your order and it looks like there was an issue with the quantity for your brakes on the original order. Awe man, I am so sorry that this happened. Let's get this corrected and get those missing items sent to you right away. I have sent your information over to customer service and you should hear from them within the next 24-48 hours. When you receive everything properly, I would love to hear your updated review of how everything works together.

by:

Great products with great pricing!!!! Thank you !!

by:

I ended up purchasing two of these and they fit perfectly without any modifications to the trailer

by:

I would have gave you five but when I contacted to about the missing bolt and no shalf protector on the one end. Bolt was missing on the brake plate.

by:

The axle was exactly what I ordered and showed up much quicker than I expected. I installed it in about an hour. Good quality. Having the wire for the brakes already ran inside the axle made it very easy to rewrite the brakes, nice feature.

by:

The product seems perfect but both grease fittings on the axle got smashed and transport I have to replace them

  • Will Kodiak 8k Disc Brakes for AL-KO Axle Fit etrailer Axle
Hey Don! The Kodiak # KOD32FR will not fit the etrailer # e35GR. These brakes are designed to fit a 4-bolt brake flange on 8k axles and the etrailer 7k axle has a 5-bolt brake flange. Even if they matched, these are specifically designed for the old AL-KO axles which are a little different. For 7k disc brakes with 5/8" studs I recommend the Kodiak Disc Brakes # KOD63FR instead. Are you wanting oil bath disc brakes? These are designed for grease but can be converted to oil bath by swapping...

  • Replacing A 3.5K Trailer Axle With 4" Drop, 95" Hub Face and 78-1/4" Spring Center
We have two options that will be very close to your specification, options that very well may work for you, but will not be an exact match. The first option is the etrailer Trailer Axle Beam # e95GR. This has the 3.5K capacity 4" drop and 95" hub face that you are looking for. The spring center on this axle is 79-1/4". What we would do is sell you two loose spring seats # TRSS238. You would need to take the axle to a welder and have them remove the spring seats and weld the new ones on...

  • Replacement Axle and Brakes for 2006 Weekend Warrior SuperLite FS2300
In order to find the correct replacement axle you will need to know the capacity of your current axle, as well as the hub face to hub face measurement. Based on what I found, your 2006 Weekend Warrior SuperLite FS2300 more than likely has two 3,500 lb axles so you will not want to use the # e35GR. The axle capacity can typically be found on the axle tag. If it is not listed, you can call the axle manufacturer and give them the serial number to identify it. Assuming you have a 3,500 lb...

  • What Wheels and Tires Will Be Under 102" Wide On 95" 7K Trailer Axle
In regards to a trailer axle with 95" hub face like the Trailer Axle Beam part # e95GR, you'll likely need to use offset wheels and narrow tire to stay under the 102" max trailer width. The best we could get is 103.3" using the the Dexstar Conventional Steel Wheel part # AM20766 and Westlake ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire part # LHWL401. If you switch to the Trailer Axle Beam part # e35GR you can get down to 102.3" which should not get you into any legal trouble. If you don't already...

  • Compatibility Of Dexter 6,000LB Hub And Drum Assemblies On etrailer AxleTek 7,000LB Axles
To verify if your hubs on your 6,000lb Dexter axles are going to fit the etrailer AxleTek 7,000LB Axle # e35GR you will need to verify what bearings and grease seals are used on your hubs. The new axles will use a #42 Spindle # TRU57FR, and this is the most common spindle used on the Dexter 6,000lb axles. The etrailer AxleTek uses Inner Bearing # 25580(ID 1.750"), Outer Bearing # 14125A(ID 1.250") and Grease Seal # GS-2250DL(ID 2.250", OD 3.376"). The Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly...

  • Can 7,000 lb Trailer Axle e35GR Replace 94 Inch Hub Face, 77 Inch Spring Center Axle
Even though the spring centers are different, since you have the same hub face to hub face measurement of 94 inches, you can replace your Lippert axle with the Trailer Axle Beam with Easy Grease Spindles # e35GR. However, the spring seats do need to be in the same spot, so you'll need to weld on new Spring Seat for Axles with 3" Diameter # TRSS300. The hub face measurement is the most important one as it is common to move the spring seats, so that's all you'd need to do to use the Trailer...

  • Is There a Difference in Quality between the Dexter and etrailer 7k Drop Axles
From a spec standpoint the Dexter 7k trailer axle part # 8327872 is exact same as the etrailer part # e35GR. Most would consider the Dexter axles to be the very top of the line in terms of quality but our etrailer brand is also a really solid option that is not lacking in quality. If you wanted the peace of mind knowing you had the absolute best of the best I'd go with the Dexter based on reputation but if you wanted essentially the same thing at a better price I would lean towards the...

Our standard drop axles measure 89" long and then 94" long. It's possible to use a larger hub face like the etrailer 94" Long Axle # e35GR but you need to make sure the 78-1/4" spring center measurement lines up and that the 7K weight rating isn't too much for your application. For slipper springs we don't have anything that matches 26" exactly, but we have the 5-Leaf Slipper Spring # e74SR that is made for a 7K axle and measures 26-5/8" long overall. As they come with a bare spindle you will need a brake kit like the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust # 23-464-465, and 2 Hub/Drums # 42866UC3-EZ.
