Features to know about
Stay in Control on Light Snow: Low-Profile Rollers Grip Smoothly
When the streets get slick with a layer of snow or ice, these Titan Chain cable chains give you the traction you need without the harsh ride of bulky links. The low-carbon steel rollers wrap around wire cables in a ladder pattern, giving steady forward grip while keeping things smooth and quiet on pavement. They’re ideal for those quick snowstorms or when you need chains just to get through a chain-required zone.
Built for Tight Wheel Wells: Class S Compatible Cables Fit Where Others Don’t
If clearance is tight around your tires, these cables are made for that job. They meet SAE Class S standards, so they’ll fit in limited spaces where regular chains won’t. Perfect for modern cars and smaller vehicles, the low-profile design gives you the clearance you need to stay safe and compliant without risking damage to your fenders or suspension.
Quick Emergency Setup: Simple Drive-On and Connect Design
When you’re pulled over in falling snow, you don’t want a complicated install. These cables feed through a steel channel and connect easily—no levers or tools required. Just drape them over, hook them at the back, and secure the front. Add rubber adjusters (sold separately) for a snug fit and hit the road knowing your tires are ready for changing conditions.
Lightweight Convenience: Easy to Store and Carry for “Just-in-Case” Trips
Because they’re compact and lightweight, these cables are perfect to keep in your trunk for emergencies or seasonal travel. Whether you’re crossing a mountain pass or heading to the slopes, they don’t take up much space but are ready when you need them. Each pair fits 14" – 19" tires and comes backed by a 30-day limited warranty.
Reliable Construction You Can Count On: Low-Carbon Steel for Long-Lasting Use
The low-carbon steel build gives these cables strength and flexibility for light winter use. They resist wear while staying easy to handle in cold weather. Dry them after use, store them in your trunk, and they’ll be ready to go season after season whenever the next snowstorm hits.

Note
Usage Note: To determine whether you can use snow chains on your vehicle, or if they might affect your ABS/EPS functionality, consult your owner's manual.
A: a minimum of 1.46" (37 mm) between the top of the tire tread and the wheel well
B: at least 0.59" (15 mm) between the tire's sidewall and the vehicle
Confirming Your Fit
If you know your tire size, you may think you won't need to test fit your new chains. But there are a lot of variables that can affect whether chains will fit your specific tires, including your tire type, the amount of air pressure in the tire, the amount of tread wear, and the tire manufacturer.
We recommend that you order chains as early in the season as possible to give yourself plenty of time to test fit the chains and reorder if needed. This way, you won't be stuck out in the cold later with snow chains that don't fit.
You can test fit these chains in your garage or driveway, but you'll want to wait until there's snow on the ground to actually drive with them. Likewise, if you're out in the snow and come across bare pavement, you'll want to pull over and remove the chains. These chains can cause damage to the bare pavement, your garage floor, or your vehicle if they break from the wear of riding on a harsh surface.
Got chains delivered sooner than estimated. Chains are a great product for the price, and performed great while driving up in the Big Bear Mountains. 599509

These tighteners were purchased as a second, backup pair to those that came with the tire cable set that I purchased on the same order.
The cable tire chains were purchased for a 2016 Honda HR-V to be equipped to travel in the often snow / ice covered highways to and from the ski resorts of Colorado.
I haven't been required to use them yet so I can't comment on their ease of use nor reliability. 327321

I have not used the product yet (with my Subaru Forester I may never have to, just have to carry them in the car to get through the chain zone) but I want to share about the excellent customer service at etrailer.com. I needed cables asap for a trip that was right around the corner and the folks who helped me on the phone found the right product for my vehicle and made sure I got it on time. Very positive experience. Thank you! 350781

I purchased some cables and tensioners. They look great, but I have not used them, so this review is on etrailer.com specifically. Bottom line, they were great!
Their site was easy to use. It provided a nice video of how to attach the cables and their attention to the shipment was outstanding. 168996

ONline ordering was a breeze! Chains arrived at dinner time but looked great and the correct tire size. Tomorrow, when the rain has stopped, I'll put them on the car for the experience of being ready. Living in No. Calif. there's always a small chance that my travels will get snowed on. I'll be ready 599006

TC1038 fits 235-40-18 like a glove.

The correct set of chains for you would depend on your needs.
If you want an inexpensive set of chains that will sit in the back of the vehicle, to be used in the unlikely event that you found yourself in a situation where you'll need them, the Glacier Chains # TC1138 would be a good choice. We also recommend the Rubber Adjusters, part # PW99.
However, if you're purposely driving into snowy and mountainous areas and know without a doubt you'll need the chains frequently, you'd be better... view full answer...
According to your owner's manual, tire chains/cables are only to be used on the front two wheels and must be Class S compatible. For your 2009 Toyota Sienna we have both Titan part # TC1038 and Glacier part # PW1038 cable options. Both cables are similar in design with a few key differences.
The Glacier cables have an included 90 day warranty whereas, the Titan cables only have a 30 day warranty. I recommend going with the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains part # PW1038 for this reasons.... view full answer...
For your tire size of 215/75R14 the Titan cable set you'll want is the part # TC1034 which is a confirmed fit. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well. view full answer...
We do have numerous tire chains that will fit the 205/50-17 tire size. I have included a link to all of the available options. The TC1038 cables you referenced will fit well.
I also recommend adding rubber adjusters, # PW99 for cars or # PW100 for trucks and SUVs, to make installation easier and to keep the chains taught on the tire. I have included a link to a video showing how the rubber adjusters work.
You will also want to check your vehicle owners manual to determine if chains can... view full answer...
For your 2014 Subaru Forester with 225/60-17 tires you will need to use the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains part # TC1038 and for your 2015 Subaru Impreza with 205/55-16 tires you will need to use the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains part # TC1034. The Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains part # TC1038 will not fit both tire sizes. These will be your most cost effective options.
In regards to compliance with the owner's manual, the cables are both class s compliant which means they... view full answer...
Rubber tensioner are a great idea when using tire chains like the part # PW1038 or # TC1038 that do not have an automatic tensioning ability. The ones to use are the part # PW105.
This style of tensioner seems to work better than the other style like part # PW99. view full answer...
For your 215/65R16 tires, we don't have snow socks that are a confirmed fit. I recommend using class s compatible chains to give you traction in the snow and maximize your internal clearance needed to protect your vehicle. I recommend checking your owners manual for compatibility.
For chains only requiring 12mm clearance internally, I recommend the Thule Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link - XG12 Pro - Size 230 # TH2004705230 or the similar # TH01221102.

Yes, the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains # TC1038 that you referenced have been confirmed as a fit for your 215/70R15 tire size. You will need to consult the owners manual of your 1998 Ford Windstar to see if there are any restrictions on snow chain usage. view full answer...
According to the owner's manual's for both the 2018 Subaru Crosstrek and the 2015 Subaru Forester, "Tire chains cannot be used on your vehicle because of the lack of clearance between the tires and vehicle body". However with that being said, we certainly understand certain states and conditions require the use of them therefore the choice will be ultimately up to you.
Although tire chains are not recommended for use on either of your vehicle's, spring chains or tire cables can be used... view full answer...
The Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains # TC1038 are a fit for a 235/35-19 tire size. They are Class S compatible to fit between the tire and wheel well. I've attached a picture below that shows two measurements you'll need to take to ensure these chains will fit. view full answer...
I took a look at an online version of the 2013 Chevy Cruze owner's manual and it stated that while snow chains could not be used, other traction devices could, and you would need to place them on the rear wheels. The Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains # TC1038 are cables and not chains and will work for your Cruze so long as your tire size is 215/55-17 or 225/45-18.
I've left a link to a video review of this product for you to take a look at. view full answer...
The correct Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chain for your 2012 Hyundai Sonata is the # TC1038 if you are planning on using these as an emergency chain.
Finally, if you are going to be in an area where you will definately need tire chains, the Thule # TH01221097 is a solid choice. These chains have a D-shape links and are corrosion resistant.
The Glacier chains are DOT compliant and Class S rated. I have attached short installation videos on all three choices for you.
