When your trailer or bed load makes the rear end sag, steering and braking can feel off. The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs add up to 5,000 lbs of rear axle support to keep the truck level and stable. By installing between the frame and the rear suspension, these double-convoluted air bags help maintain even tire contact, proper headlight aim, and balanced braking when towing or hauling heavy gear.
Every haul is different, and these springs let you adjust for it. Each side can be inflated separately through manual valves to level off-center or uneven loads. Add air pressure for a firm, steady ride when loaded or drop to minimum pressure for a softer ride when empty. With manual inflation valves included, you can easily fine-tune comfort and control for any trip or terrain.
Hauling weight doesn’t have to mean feeling every bump. The reinforced rubber construction and double-convoluted design absorb road shock between the axle and frame to prevent bottoming out. Four layers of heavy rubber, a braided wire girdle, and corrosion-resistant metal end plates work together to soften impacts and protect your suspension from strain on rough roads or steep grades.
Ride-Rite air springs are built for serious work. The rolled crimp seal keeps each bag securely anchored, while the durable rubber construction delivers maximum load support without permanent sagging. Brackets, hardware, air line, and separate valves for manual inflation come included in the kit. Switches, gauges, compressors, and tanks are available separately if you want quick inflation from inside the cab.
Installing load support doesn’t have to be complicated. Each Ride-Rite kit includes custom brackets that mount between the frame and axle with all required hardware. Some applications may need drilling, but once mounted the setup is easy to access for inflation at the bumper valves. With clear routing points for air lines and a proven fit design, you can get back on the road with confidence in your setup.

Brakets for air bags wouldystay in place and caused air bag failure. Installed dual air bag system from another vendor and hadn’t had no more issues

have not installed the kit just yet but everything arrived in a timely manner and if you want excellent customer service contact roger @ he does an amazing job at finding the correct parts for your job.
The airbags were easy to install. All of the parts were shaped right for my truck and there haven't been any problems. We are moving right now and I'm pulling a 32 foot gooseneck trailer full of furniture and other things and the ride is great!
I ordered the wrong parts. I needed a replacement bellow. I blew a tire and the interior tire destroyed the bellow for my Firestone Ride-Rite air helper spring. I am not sure if Firestone don't provide enough information or if etrailer.com failed to provide enough information for replacement bellows. I had to re-order from a different supplier. The other supplier had the exact information to get the correct replacement bellows. This research was expensive and time consuming, but I finally got the correct part.
My shipment arrived ahead of schedule and as advertised. It was package very well and I am impressed with the quality and fit of the air springs I purchased. I am very pleased with etrailer.com and I highly recomend the firestone product and etrailer.com the vendor who sold them to me. I look forward to further dealings with them.

My Firestone Air Springs as well as being a relatively easy install, are still doing their job perfectly. I installed them on a 2014 F350 that is loaded down with a steel bed, tool boxes and is fitted with an 1,100 lb. welding machine with 400 ft. of welding leads. I find that the air bags have held up well and I would not hesitate to recommend them along with etrailer.com
These have been installed on a SRW F350 cab chassis with a service body….approx 60,000 miles… they work great hauling heavy loads and or heavy trailers everyday ….. require no maintenance and I have only had to adjust air pressure a few times mainly during extreme cold months …. Overall a great reliable product
I was told it would be a direct Bolton and nothing lined up on my upper brackets

This kit for your vehicle does require drilling into the frame in order to install, so there won't be any holes that line up for a simple bolt on installation. We will reach out shortly and help find a better solution for you.
Works great. It feels like a new truck. I have a 1 ton service body truck. There is not body roll like before. Should have done this sooner.
