Will the Firestone Ride-rite #2176 fit my 1999 Ford F350 diesel dually with crew cab and 8 foot box?

The particular Firestone air spring kit you referenced, Ride-Rite Rear Axle Air Helper Spring kit # F2176, is a fit for the cab-and-chassis version but not for the pickup. The rear axle kit that fits your F-350 diesel dually 8-foot pickup is # F2550. This fits both 2WD and 4WD versions. I have linked an installation video and the written instructions.

If you want to control the air bags from the comfort of the cab you can add a compressor kit like # F2097 which controls both bags with the same air pressure, or you can use a dual path kit that allows each bag to be controlled individually; this is part # F2219. An install video on this item is linked for you as well.

Air bags must always be kept at a minimum of 5 psi pressure and within their maximum of 100 psi.
Kits like this do not increase your truck's carrying capacity; that remains as specified by Ford.
