When you’re fighting sway from wind or passing trucks, this heavy-duty rear bar keeps things level and predictable. The 1-1/2" diameter 4140 chromoly steel gives you real torsional stiffness, using the rear axle to brace the chassis as it shifts in turns. The result is a more planted feel that keeps the rig from wandering and makes quick corrections far less dramatic.
Long hauls don’t have to mean white-knuckle steering. By cutting out side-to-side movement, this setup helps you hold your line even in gusty conditions or when the road gets uneven. With less steering correction needed, you stay more relaxed and alert behind the wheel.
This isn’t mild steel and soft rubber. The bar is made of 4140 chromoly—much stronger than standard 1020 steel—and uses polyurethane bushings that hold up against oil, gas, and ozone. That means less wear, less give, and more consistent support year after year.
No drilling or frame modification needed. The bar bolts straight to the rear axle and frame using the included heavy-gauge mounting hardware and bushing lubricant. It’s engineered to work around popular suspension upgrades so you can add stability without reworking your whole setup.
When you’re ready to fine-tune the ride, this rear bar pairs perfectly with a front anti-sway bar (sold separately). Together they balance weight transfer through corners and keep the whole setup steady under load, giving you a confident, composed drive every time.

Received the product in a timely manner. The shipping company used I’d give a no star rating. I received the anti-sway bar bare out of a box or wrapper with the installation part box and a cut out piece of cardboard with the shipping label on it taped to the bare bar with about five yards of packing tape. The bar was scuffed, scratched and chipped with the RoadMaster label destroyed. I realize it’s going to be installed under the front of my motorhome but as much as it costed I would like to be the one to scratch and scuff it. If I was a company installing this on a customers vehicle I’d return it. I do not believe it was shipped from etrailer in this condition.

After about a year with both the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar and the TorkLift StableLoad Upper Overload Spring Upgrade on our truck camper setup, my experience has been mixed.
With the StableLoads, some of the mounting screws eventually fell out. I contacted etrailer expecting the issue to be handled under warranty, but instead of taking care of the replacement directly, I was referred to the manufacturer. Considering the age of the product and that it was purchased through etrailer, I was disappointed with how the warranty issue was handled.
As for the Roadmaster 1-1/2" rear anti-sway bar, it is a very solid and well-built product, but in our particular application I honestly haven't noticed a major difference in body roll while taking turns with the camper loaded. I have driven the truck both with and without it, and the improvement was much less noticeable than I expected.
Neither product is necessarily bad, but based on our experience, the improvement in handling hasn't been significant enough for me to strongly recommend them given the cost.
2025 Sprinter 2500 low roof WITH factory sway bar. Added this bar to control the terrible handling at the rear of these vans and it absolutely takes care of that. Be aware that you 100% need the retro-fit kit for this bar to be installed as the factory sway bar end links will NOT work. The retrofit kit that you need is the RM-590064-00.
RM-1109-121 Rear Sway bar for 85 Chevyvan G30 RV. Install was pretty straightforward. I would mount the brackets to the frame first and then the sway bar to the axle. It’s easier to drill the holes without the sway bar getting in the way.
Before I replaced the shocks and upgraded the from sway bar and added the rear sway bar my G30 Chevyvan Winnebago was a wallow wagon. It took 110% focus to drive. Now it drives like a regular vehicle. Smooth. No leaning over when cornering. It’s night and day.

I have been very impressed with the improvement in the handling this product has given my motorhome. It corners flat and is far more stable on the highway.

I can’t tell it made a difference at all.
Shipping Co was a little rough on shipping carton, found a few bolts missing. Product look awesome & heavy, install took a while, went together well. first ride made a difference, I think the front require a bar kit also. etrailer shipping was very fast to Canada. thanks
I had side-to-side sway in my 35 foot Class A motorhome on a Workhorse W-22 chassis. I initially thought shocks would help but after reading the benefits of rear sway bars on e-Trailer, I bought them. Wow, what a difference in handling and sway. As it turns out, this is what I needed and could have wasted $800 on shocks had I not read e-trailer's article and then confirming with my RV shop. Thanks e-trailer for a great recommendation, a great price and fast delivery. My upcoming 3,400-mile trip is going to be much more relaxing.

Finished installing somo springs and rear antiswaybar couple of days ago. Products seem to be of excellent quality and installation was relatively easy. Have not been able to get out on the road due to Covid-19 but hopefully will be able to travel in a couple of weeks.

We upgraded both the front and the rear anit-sway bars to include the additional rear behind the axle. The ride is completely different! I dont feel the need to lean when I make a turn. Truely awesome and the install went just as it showed on the video.
