Hello, neighbors. It's Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Valterra Universal Drain Valve for the RVs, and it's a three eighth inch and a half inch barbed white fitting. So like I said, it's a universal drain valve. Very simple. It's a hard ABS plastic.
It's gonna give you nice durability for many, many months and years to come. Simple open and close of the valve here. That's how it operates. And like I said, this is gonna fit the drain of your RV fresh water tank. As I mentioned before, it's got a three eights or a half inch hose connection.
So if you're using a half inch, you simply snip off right here where the half inch starts. So the very back of that three eighths, you just cut that off, and then you're there for the half inch. If you need the three eighths, push that three eighths as far up as you can, and put your clamp on it and everything and you should be good to go. Now the mounting holes on this will let you mount this securely, and the hardware is not included. That's sold separately.
The distance between these mounting holes is 1.45 inches. It's got a nice one year warranty. And again, this is the Valterra Universal Drain Valve. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching, and have a great day.

Plastic is a bit flimsier than the other Valterra stuff I bought, but OK. Didn't come with new screws like the other stuff did. Bummer.

Item was smaller than original. Original was tightly fit into the hose. This one required to the hose clamp to be overly tightened just to get it to seal. Item does appear to be not as well made as original.
My order was just as I expected. It was priced very reasonably and came in the stated time period. Great job by etrailer.
The drain valve is working great. It's easy to keep my 35 year old RV "new" with Etrailer.

The part fit our 2005 Coachman Chaparrel Pull Type Camper perfectly. We had looked at several camper parts store and couldn't find one that fit, but etrailer.com came through for us! Great price, quick service and arrived at the post office safe and sound.

Still going great. opened and clsed perfect even after the winter months.
Part was exactly as described and was delivered quickly!
Started leaking within a week of installation. Not at the rear, where the hose clamp seals the down tube to the inlet, but within the valve. Replace with billet aluminum inlets and steel/brass valves -- no more plastic drain valves for this camper.
This worked just fine. Thanks for stocking it.
it's the wrong thing i bought...close but useless now---i gave them to our local RV repair who had none!!! i'll keep looking...camping world is where i bought the last 1 when a homeless guy broke it of 7 yrs ago

The product works but is minimal. It’s been in use for one year and is certainly adequate. Something a little more sturdy would be ideal

An almost identical replacement for the one with the broken handle that was on my trailer. The onl problem I has was because I had to drill out the rivets that held the of one in and it messed up the hole spacing for new screws to hold it in. Absolutely no fault of the product.
Installed a year ago. It was a perfect replacement, no leaks, easy to turn, love it!
Product was exactly what I was looking for, and a great fit!
They both leaked and very unsatisfactory. Not even able to use them.
Drain valve worked as it should. Was a little hard to put on but because of where the valve hose is located on the rv.Nothing to do with the valve itself
