Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this Camco RV drain valve with the flange, and it's for a hose barb threaded-style connection. Now folks, this drain valve, again, with the flange here, will make it super simple and easy to drain your RV's fresh water tank. The valve simply opens or closes. Very simple, smooth operation. It's got two holes here for mounting it.
And as you can see, the whole thing is a nice, sturdy, durable plastic. Now the valve does accommodate either 1/2 inch here at the top or 3/8 inch diameter barb thread fitting for use with the vinyl tubing. Now if you just have the 1/2 inch, you simply cut off the 3/8 extension here very carefully. Just snip that right off, and then you put the hose on to the 1/2 inch. If you need the 3/8, slide up here as far as you can and put your connection on according to your instructions.

The valve is still performing as it should and have notice no degrading of the plastic from our extreme temperatures.
was'nt sure about the hose size,great idea having the two sizes,fresh water tank will not hold water without this valve functioning properly,have yet to install,trailer is at the river,going this weekend

This drain valve I selected has 2 options of hose size which made the choice easy for me! I did need the larger 1/2" connection and it took only a few minutes to install. Ya gotta love Free Shipping on orders over a $99.00.

Exact Replacement for Our 2018 Rockwood Mini Lite
Valve was direct replacement to the leaking fresh water drain valve on my travel trailer. Old valve had handle snap off then later started leaking. Hope this brand last longer. No leaks and working properly. Time will tell on longevity.
Exact OE form fit and Function, on a 1988 Aljo 20’ travel trailer I am restoring. The photo also shows Red, stop tail, turn lights from etrailer.com as well. Started in Colorado, in June, now in Az. Till spring.
