Hello neighbor, this is Steven with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna taking a look at these Torklift Glowstep Revolution Uprising steps. Now this particular kit is a six step version. We do sell other options on our website as well. Now these pull off steps are gonna make it really easy for you to get into or out of your RV, trailer camper, and they are designed specifically for vehicles that do not have a step well underneath the entryway. Now they do install onto your RV or camper's door frame, and that's gonna help avoid damage to the floor, or the exterior of your camper RV trailer.
They do require an entry height of 42 and three eighth inches up to 49 and seven eighth inches. The doorway width is gonna have to be 24 inches. The steps themselves are 20 inches wide, eight inches deep, and you're gonna have a rise of seven and a half inches between each step. Now they're rated at 300 pounds capacity and they do have a lifetime limited warranty. Again, they're made of aircraft grade aluminum and they have a stainless steel construction as well on the sides here.
All these different stainless steel hinges are bolted together for easy add-on or removal. You can take these steps out and replace them, or purchase new ones if you want to add one in the future or take one out if you need to take one out. The bushing bearings are gonna offer a very smooth action whenever you're scissoring these open and close, and they're gonna last a lot longer than some of the other manufacturers out there that use like rivets and those kind of things. Again, it's gonna come with your instructions and the hardware and a couple of Allen keys to install these. It's a super simple installation.
You get a nice heavy duty bracket here. While I'm zoomed in here, lemme go ahead and show you this grip tape that's built in here, so it's got a built in sure-grip on the top here. This is very, very, very, abrasive as far as giving you a good grip. If it's wet or muddy or something, it's gonna do real nice for you to keep you safe. Also, on these, you can kind of hear the tread.
(tread clinking) That's built into every single step. It's a really nice feature. You don't have to worry about anything peeling off or losing it or anything, And that's gonna keep you safe as well. If you can see here, it's got a built-in glow tape, and what I'll do is I'll shut off the lights here for a second and tell you about this tape. So it's hard to see in that particular view. Let me zoom out here. So now you can see very clearly these neon green fluorescent colored tape that lights up. This glow tape will last up to 10 hours, with only five minutes of sunlight or natural light. So very, very impressive. That's one of my favorite features, honestly, about these, five minutes and it glows already in the dark. Now I'm not outside, I'm just inside a studio here. We just have normal lights, but they are brighter than most. And again, you can see it's shining very, very clearly. Very, very safety thing here. And let's zoom back in here on the top. Now, like I was saying, these do scissor up and down. Let me show you this last feature here, before I close for the day. And if you're counting these during the video, you're only gonna see five steps. And like I told you at the beginning, this is a six step. So where's that last step Well, lemme show you. So at the bottom there's a simple locking lever. You pull over spring load it, and as you can see in the video, you just simply pull 'em up or down however you need. And as you can see in the video, it's a very, very super simple process that smooths to their action is really nice. The two side legs there, those are really nice, because you can adjust those up or down. Let's say you're on uneven ground, you need to just push one leg up or down to make your level steps, very simple to do. There's a spring push button there on the sides. You simply push that in and move them up or down depending on what you need for your movement there. Now another thing is you can kind of see these notches up here and this kind of plastic bushing. When you fold these up and scissor 'em down, that notch up here is gonna lock into this nylon bushing down there. So when you fold 'em up, you're gonna be able to lock 'em in place. That way when you're driving down the road, they're not gonna pop on loose on a pothole or anything like that. They're gonna be very stable for you and they're gonna last a long time. Well, I hope that you enjoyed the time today with me. I really, really do recommend these Torklift steps. We do sell a lot of 'em here, and install 'em here at etrailer.com, and it's one of our fan favorites. Again, they're lightweight, easy to use, the glow in the dark tape, the adjustability, it's just they by far out blow the competition in my opinion. So I hope this helps you with your decision. Again, this is Steven with etrailer.com. Have a great day.
Very good product and company to do business with.
This was very easy to install. Worked just like I wanted it to.
Easy install. Solved our lack of space issues while stored at home. Quality product. Packaging was horrible
Bought 2 items from you. Both worked well. I would recommend this company to other people
Awesome steps. Easy install and easy to use. Very sturdy.
Everything went well and customer service was on point
Surprisingly easy to install with very good instructions.
Love the way they work.
Poorly packaged
Entry bracket was bent
Where steps mount was bent and broke the weld
Had to reweld it
The package was not in the best shape upon arrival, but the steps appear to be unharmed. The installation instructions were laid out nicely and very clear.
Took me an hour to install the steps on our Winnebago Mini Drop WD1710. They fit with no alterations to the door frame.
They are sturdy and much easier and safer to enter and exit than the original single floating step.
The steps worked great. Good concept but unfortunately my wife could not raise them up by herself so we had to go back to the strut assisted steps that came with our RV.
One of the better accessories we've added to the trailer. Makes life easy unwinding and rewinding the bulky 50a cord. Easy install.live it !
Disappointed that one os the legs has no rubber stops. ALSO something as simple as quality nuts for the bolts. I had to go to home depot to buy more since three of them wouldnd even go on the boltFor the money these cost there is really no excuse.Probably should have give it a three considering the way the ups driver through the box on my porch when the box clearly states fragile. I did get it installed and it does work as described. How about sending some rubber stops for the feet.
Just finished the installation. I replaced Mor-Ryde steps, which came stock in our Grand Design. The original steps are good, but we had Torkilifts on out prior camper and really liked them. They are sturdy and the level of the camper is not an issue anymore when wanting to open the camper door wit the Mor-Ryde steps. Definitely would recommend. (They are pricey, but it is a quality item.)
Great product. Fit perfectly and very easy installation. Also, very fast shipping.
