Can The 6-Step TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go Steps Be Operated From The Top Of The Steps?

Hello. My question is can the steps be retracted when you are at the top of the steps and conversely, can you extend them from the top of the steps? Thank you!

The TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go Scissor Steps w/ Landing Gear # TLA7836 are not designed to be retracted and extended from the top of the steps. This would be difficult to accomplish since these steps will mount below the door and you would have to hang out the door to pull up the steps and anchor them into the mounting bracket.
You might find a set of steps like the TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Uprising Steps # TL77YR easier to use in this manner as these fold up inside the door. Do note it will allow any dirt on the steps to now get inside the camper and will limit the space near your door when folded up.
