Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at a replacement Lippert waterproof on/off switch assembly for the electric tongue jacks. Now, folks, this will replace a worn out or broken jack light switch. It's got a simple on/off toggle. And you got the two prongs here in the back.
That's your wires will clip into. Now, this is a waterproof design. This have a nice rubber boot around the edge here that's gonna keep moisture and water from getting inside of there. It's a very simple installation. You should be able to handle this yourself with ease.
Now as far as some overall dimensions, I got 1 1/8th inches wide overall outside to outside. On the height, I got 1 7/8th inches tall. And on the depth, I went with the rocker switch out all the way back to the back of the prong. And I got about 1 7/8th inches deep as well. So again, 1 7/8th inches deep, 1 7/8th inches tall, 1 1/8th inches wide.

This is a drop-in replacement for the rather fragile and precariously placed OEM switch. I have lost 2 of them in 5 years because my tow vehicle tailgate scrapes against it in a few parking configurations. the power jack manufacturer should relocate the switches to a more protected position. Installation of the new switch takes ~5 min.
