Will Momentary Switch #37212705 Stay in the On Position?

Hello, folks. I would like to purchase the switch number 37212705. Now my question is, I have an outside shower. Want and I would like to know if this switch can go on temporary on temporary off like flipping the toggle a will it stay on? I have 2 other switches inside the motor home, one in the bathroom and one on the hood panel. So and I have an intelligent switching device near the water pump Melissas work temporarily on temporary off. As soon as I toggle the switch, I dont wanna search where I have to keep holding it down to keep it in the on position. Thank you. Thank you for this help in this matter, bert

Hey Bert!
No, the Momentary Switch # 37212705 is spring-loaded, so it will return to the OFF position as soon as you release it.
If you want a switch that stays in the position you select, the Lippert Waterproof On/Off Switch Assembly # LC92BK is the better option. When you switch it ON, it stays on until you manually switch it back OFF, so you won't have to hold the switch down while using the outside shower. It's also waterproof, which makes it well suited for that type of installation.
Since you mentioned that your water pump is controlled by multiple switches and an intelligent switching device, what exactly are you planning to connect this new switch to? I want to make sure a standard maintained ON/OFF switch will work correctly with your existing pump-control system.

Bert We have a 2026 Jayco with the BMPRO/ JAYCOMMAND Panel. I replaced the switch at the outside shower with this momentary switch (the original one may have been ok but I may have broken it) . I can power the water pump on or off at the outside shower with the switch. also i have a push button on the wall in the bathroom, and the main touch button on the control panel. The water pump will operate off any switch (push once on, push again off) Hope this helps.
