I still need to install it but the quality looks perfect. I like that with this style you can mount it off-center if you have a spare tire as well on your back bumper I really appreciate the expedited shipping. I always shop from a trailer if I can.

Paint is holding up perfectly and it’s still easy to use. If you install this on a bumper, it’s really recommended that you weld the bumper to strengthen or get some products to help out. The torque on the frame connection will rip off the bumper eventually if not reinforced

2017 Toyota Tundra

Just installed this unit on my travel trailer bumper and it appears to be fairly heavy duty and secure. Did have some trouble getting it on the bumper but used my truck tire jack for leverage & it popped right on (see photo). The receiver is just what I need for my bike rack & 2 bikes that I will be hauling to Florida next month. Safety first & this unit looks well made & will hold to the challenges of the road.

After a year & 2 trips to Florida is perfect! No need to tighten the bolts due to vibration & wear & tear from a 45 lb bike rack & 40 lbs of bikes. I am extremely pleased with this receiver!

by:

The Curt trailer hitch is solid as can be and couldn't have been any easier to install. Product arrived ahead of schedule and George at the erailer is great with email communications . I will be purchasing future products from this company. Great job George at etrailer. happy camping

This receiver fit perfectly and was easy to install. We have our Stow a Way luggage carrier mounted on the back of our little RV trailer.
Tried to download a pic but unsuccessful.

by:

As advertised, fit perfect on the back of my camper, no issues. Always great service from etrailer

by:

Thank you etrailer, I’ve been looking for this bumper receiver for my 38’ Keystone toy hauler for a bike rack. Ordered and four days later it’s here. Installed in 10mins, fits perfectly. I used a flat washer and nylok nuts instead of nuts supplied. Well built and sturdy.

Great product, we used it all summer on our travels without any problems.

by:

This thing is holding up great. I had a different stile before and it broke driving down the road. Causing my cargo rack to fall off carrying my generator and my bb-qer. But this mount has been amazing

by:

A previous trailer hitch receiver was not adequate for a bike rack with heavy mountain bikes. It developed cracks in the metal. There’s a fair amount of vibration for a bike rack at the back end of a camp trailer. I bought the Curt receiver to mount a 50# Kuat bike rack to carry two +50# e-bikes. So the load is +150# plus the torque of extending almost three feet from the receiver. Worked great. An observer noted the rack and bikes were quite stable.

by:

Awesome product. I did have one problem with it but it was on my end. The bumper on my Keystone Summerland Series Mini was a little to close to the body so I had to flip the mount over to make the bolts work. Shipping was fast!!!! 4 days including the day I ordered. Would have been 3 but something happened with UPS. I will definitely be buying more products from etrailer Corporation.

Still holding up great a year later. It easily allows me to carry my cargo receiver which has my generator and a couple five gallon gas cans on the back.

by:

Delivered quickly. Haven’t installed it yet and look forward to using this for my Thule Bike rack.

I have a 21.5' Trail-Lite RV that had a plastic bumper. I wanted to put a Bike Rack on the back of the RV, so I bought some 3/16" 4" x 4" square stock and had a welder weld it on the back of the RV. This is a lot heaver duty than a stock bumper. Once the bumper was installed, I bought this Curt bumper hitch, part E-100, from etrailer.com. Installation was a breeze, and only took a few minutes. I used some grease and a small hydraulic jack to encourage the hitch to slide on. You DO NOT need to drill out the holes as some have reported. A 4 pound sledge will encourage the back hitch hole to pop above the 4" bumper. Use some never seize on the threads so it will come apart some day. Here is the finished product, with my e-bike installed. Shipping was quick and FREE! (I ordered over $100 of stuff)

by:

Torqued to spec. and works as expected. We hang a bike rack off of it on the back of a travel trailer. Solid design.

Reason not a 5: There was a slight alignment issue getting the bolts through both sides due to the stampings not being aligned when welded. Once I got the bolts through, no issue, but there was interference with the threads on the stamping; had to turn the bolts through as they would not slip through.
Still would recommend.

by:

Wow! Service was personal, quick & complete! Will definitely buy from the folks at etrailer again!

by:

Easy to install and has worked great for a bike rack on the back of our travel trailer.

by:

Hitch mount was as info described. Needed to mount a heavy 4 bike rack on my RV. Arrived on time and fit perfectly. etrailer videos were very helpful in selecting the right hitch for my weight requirements. You took the time to make them to support the products, you earned my business because of it.

by:

Thanks to etrailer and Michelle for helping me select the Curt E-100 4" bumper mount cargo reciever hitch. The quick delivery helped us get on our fall trip accordingly. Definatly the right product for this application.

by:

Great product, solid and easy to install on our Flagstaff Camper. E-Trailer kept a timely Email contact informing me of the tracking progress on delivery. Thanks for the great product and professional service.

just received today, mounted it on the bumper vertically so as to make a mount for my waste travel tote for my travel trailer, or i can mount horizontally to use my luggage rack.
Shipping was quick.
So far so good.

by:

This one missed the quality control step. Tolerances were too close and missed the mark. Had to remove just a small bit of weld with a to clear the bolt mounting holes.

sorry didn't think about documenting it with a picture.

by:
2022 Cruiser RV MPG Travel Trailer

Well it’s a hitch, obviously attempts to make things universal rarely to perfect. Carriage bolts hit camper if mounted “correct” way. Had to mount it upside down. Hopefully works fine.

by:

It fit the 5th wheel rv bumper perfectly. It lives up to the Curt reputation of being heavy duty. I purchased a Curt A20 5th wheel hitch about 2yrs ago. I love the sound it makes when coupling up.

by:

I love being able to bring bikes when I go on camping trips and this made it super easy to bring my hitch rack. I like that a lot more than putting the bikes on top of the car. Definitely make sure the bikes are well secured bc trailer suspension is not the same as vehicle suspension and the load might bounce a lot more.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for a 2020 Rockwood 2706WS Travel Trailer
The Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-100 is a fit for the 2020 Rockwood 2706WS. This mounts to the bumper so it is only as strong as the supports of the bumper which is fine for a bike rack or accessory. If you prefer a stronger hitch that is frame mounted then I recommend the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 66" Wide # C13704. This requires more work for installation but is a stronger hitch and what most people prefer in the long run.

The Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-100 itself has a 350 lb tongue weight rating but you will need to look at the weight rating of the bumper on your 2019 Jayco White Hawk 29RE to make sure you aren't overloading it. To help offer better support on your RV bumper you can use something like the Mount-n-Lock SafetyStruts Standard RV Bumper Support Brackets # MO22FR. This kit mounts to bumpers that are 4" to 4-1/2" square and they bolt to the welded or bolted I-Beam, S-Beam,...

The bumper mount E-100 is more limited as to what it will fit on. First, the bumper has to be rated for use with a hitch. It must be a 4 inch square continuous welded steel bumper. A bumper mount hitch in general is not as stable as a frame mount. The frame mount 13703 can be bolted or welded on. It fits box frames, I-beam...

Depending on the dimensions of your trailer's bumper I believe we could have a solution for you that would not require welding.
