Video Transcript for Checking Out the B and B RV City Water Inlet

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this B and B Black RV City Water Inlet. Now this city water fill with the check valve is going to replace a leaking or damaged valve on your RV, and the check valve inside is going to prevent backflow into the city system when this is under pressure and the water safe plastic isn't going to rust or contaminate incoming water and the removable screen that you can see right there, that removable screen filter is gonna be very easy to clean and replace. So let me go ahead before I go any further and just give you some overall measurements so you can be confident that this is going to work for you. So some of these dimensions are gonna be kind of tricky to give you, just because of the placement of some things.

But looking at that cutout, as you can see we're right at about three and a half inches in diameter on the cutout, required. And then the rear connection here is a half an inch NPT, as you can see there. And then the flange outer diameter. So measuring this overall, end to end, we are right at four and three quarters inches. And then the dish depth, lemme see if you can see that.

I'm just gonna stick that ruler in there. We're sitting right at about three quarters of an inch. Then the valve depth is gonna be right at three inches. The grip collar is going to let you easily attach and detach your hose. Then if you notice, the tethered plug here is going to protect this fill point when it's not in use, keeping it clean and keeping from things like debris and whatnot getting in there.

So that's all going to be part of this. This is made here in the USA of corrosion-proof plastic. It's UV stabilized. So what that means for you is this is going to maintain its color and it's going to hold up really well against the elements that it's going to be constantly exposed to. So very durable.

As you can see here, it does include the mounting screws, also includes butyl tape to put around the circumference of this as you're mounting this and then you run the screws through there, that's gonna prevent moisture from leaking in there. So the butyl tape is included. This is NSF, IAPMO, CSA and TEI certified. Well, I think that's going to wrap up our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.
