Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the city water flange. This is going to replace a worn out or damaged water flange on your RV or travel trailer. It does have a lead free brass check valve that's going to allow you to hook up to your system. It also has this durable plastic surface mount so that you can get it installed.
As far as our dimensions, our plastic portion diameter, we're looking at right about 2 7/8ths of an inch. For our cutout, it's going to be quite a bit smaller than that. Really only going to need right about 1 1/2 inches to get this pipe through. Our valve depth, it's right at 1 5/8ths of an inch. This does have a 1/2 inch FPT by 3/4 inch hose fitting, so it's going to work with most your standard hoses plugged in.It's also got this removable filter, easy to replace, and this rubber dust cap to make sure no dirt or debris can get in there when you're not hooked up.
Make sure everything is nice and clean down in your water tank. Really, that's all there is to it, and it's going to do a good job allowing you to hook up to that city water. I know how important that is when we're out in our RV or travel trailer. Water is a key ingredients to our stay, so this will help us get that water back into our tanks and into our pipes. That's going to complete our look at the city water flange.

Over the years our City Water Inlet on our 21ft Tow Lite camper had gotten worn out. This replacement had the plastic flange size needed for the recessed mounting required and good quality features my original unit did not have including a large swivel knob to help with hose attachment. Installation was straight forward and took about 30 minutes. Looks good and really improved this aspect of our camping hook up needs.
