Specs:
Pair this tray assembly with a carpet covered plywood bottom (not included) to create a complete slide-out tray for the cargo compartment in your RV or camper. The complete tray lets you store and organize camping and hiking gear, tools, and power cords, so your compartment doesn't become too cluttered. It also glides out when you need it so that you don't have to crawl into the dirty or cramped compartment in order to retrieve your belongings. The SuperSlide I has integrated, spring-loaded latches that lock the rails in the stowed, 1/3 extended, and 2/3 extended positions, so you can load or unload cargo without having to worry about the tray moving around.
This tray assembly includes 2 base brackets, 2 slide assemblies, and 2 support brackets. First, you will need to install the base brackets into your cargo compartment using hardware (not included), making sure they are 2-1/2" away from the compartment door. Drilling may be required. Depending on your setup, you may need to raise the base brackets with 2x4s (not included).
Then install the carpeted wood bottom onto the slide assemblies. To determine the size of the tray bottom you need, measure the distance inside the slide assembly flanges and subtract 2-1/2". For a finished look, mount the support brackets to either end of the wood bottom. Lastly, slide the assembled try onto the base brackets.

Hi neighbors. Steven here again with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the Kwikee SuperSlide I RV Storage Slide Out tray assembly, 48 inches long. So folks, what this is gonna give you is an option to make an assembly that's gonna pair with a carpet covered plywood bottom that's not included to form a slide out tray for your RV or camper's cargo compartment area. So you'll be able to store things like camping, hiking gear, tools, skis, snowboards, power cords, pretty much limitless. Whatever you can fit in there right Now, the sliding design is gonna eliminate the need for you to crawl into a dirty or cramped compartment.
And keep in mind, I've got these loosely fitted. They're not gonna stand up on their own, at least this side won't without that carpeted board in there. But again, they can slide really nice and easy. And then they do have stops at the one third extended and two third extended positions. So you can get in there, it stops automatically.
You don't have to worry about it moving around whenever you're loading or unloading that cargo. Now they also do stop the tray from sliding open when traveling because unless you pull that spring latch, it's locked close. Now they both are durable, heavy-duty, powdercoated black steel, and it's gonna give you a nice corrosion resistant finish on there. It really truly is a simple, easy bolt-on installation into your cargo compartment. You're gonna need wood screws that are about 5/16 inch and that hardware is not included.
Everything here is made in the USA when you assemble it with the board and everything, it's rated for a thousand pounds capacity and it has a one year warranty. Now folks, this does fit a cargo compartment that is at least 48 inches deep. So you can go deeper than that, and this would only go 48 obviously, but it needs to be at least 48 inches deep. And that being said, if you want longer ones, we do sell these in many different sizes. But I'm gonna show you how these open and close real quick.
So again, you have the spring latch over here, you'll simply pull that and then you're gonna see one, two, and the third one's way down there out of the frame. But when that roller hits that stop, it's gonna automatically lock. So right now I'm at the one third pull, it's locked. I gotta pull the retention spring handle here again. That unlocks it, goes to the next one. And this is the two thirds extended. That's as far out as it's gonna go safely as in the lock position. And then to close it, same thing when I raise this spring lever, you're gonna see that ball bearing there, see it move up and down That's unlocking it. It's gonna automatically hit the next one. And then you're gonna pull the spring latch again and finally close. So, pretty simple design. Nice, easy to use. Again, this is the Kwikee SuperSlide I RV Storage Slide Out tray assembly, 48 inches long. Folks, I'm Steven. Thanks so much for your time. Thanks for watching this video. Have a great day, and stay safe.
