Features:
Specs:
Pair this rail kit with a tray trim kit (sold separately) and a carpet-covered plywood bottom (not included) to create a complete slide-out tray for the cargo compartment in your RV or camper. The complete tray lets you store and organize camping and hiking gear, tools, and power cords, so your compartment doesn't become too cluttered. It also glides out when you need it so that you don't have to crawl into the dirty or cramped compartment in order to retrieve your belongings.
Determining Which Rail Kit You Need
To figure out which rail kit you need, simply measure the overall inside length of your cargo compartment. Whatever that measurement is will be the maximum length the rail kit can be. For example, for this 48" rail kit, your cargo compartment should measure at least 48" long. Depending on your RV or camper setup, you might need to go with a rail kit that is slightly smaller than your cargo compartment to account for any potential clearance issues.
If your cargo compartment is shorter or longer, please reference the table below to determine which trim kit you would need.
Length of Cargo Compartment | Rail Kit You Need |
---|---|
42" | LC370782 (42") |
48" | LC370783 (48") |
54" | LC370785 (54") |
60" | LC370787 (60") |
80" | LC370761 (80") |
90" | LC370762 (90") |
Find the trim kit you need to complete your setup:
The trim kit needed to complete your SuperSlide II is sold separately. To determine which trim kit you need, measure the width of your cargo compartment opening, and then subtract 4. For example, if your cargo compartment measures 55" wide, then you would need a 51" trim kit. This ensures that the tray would have the proper clearance as it slides in and out.
Width of Cargo Compartment | Trim Kit You Need |
---|---|
27" | LC370674 (23") |
28" | LC370676 (24") |
31" | LC370678 (27") |
34" | LC370680 (30") |
36" | LC370682 (32") |
37" | LC370684 (33") |
40" | LC370688 (36") |
41" | LC370690 (37") |
43" | LC370692 (39") |
48" | LC370755 (44") |
52" | LC370757 (48") |
55" | LC370759 (51") |
This rail kit includes inner rail and outer rail assemblies. First you will need to assemble the rails together by sliding the inner rails all the way onto the outer rails. Then install all of the pieces of the tray trim kit (sold separately) to the rails. Lastly, install the carpeted wood bottom to the rails with wood screws (not included), and there are 2 ways that you can do this. You can measure the areas in between the mid-rail pieces and then cut out plywood inserts to fit. Those uncovered pieces then act as dividers to prevent smaller items from shifting around too much. Or, as another option, you could cover the entire bottom with 1 long piece of plywood for a full-length tray floor.
Once the tray has been completely assembled, place it onto the floor of the cargo compartment, and make sure there's adequate clearance for the compartment door. Depending on your setup, you may need to raise the outer rails with 2x4s (not included). Once the tray is fully aligned, use the integrated mounting tabs on the rails and hardware (not included) to bolt it down.

Hello, neighbors and friends. Steven here with etrailer.com. Thank you for joining me today while we take a look at our Rail Kit for the Kwikee SuperSlide 2 RV Storage Slide Out Tray Assembly. This particular one is a 48-inch long option. So folks, when it's fully assembled, the slide out would look something like this image on your screen. Keep in mind that's an older image.
The sides are black like you see before me here on my table. Not gray like the image. That's an old image. So again, I apologize for that. But the whole assembly would look something like that when it's installed.
Now, this rails here do have the option of sliding out all the way up to 48-inches in length, and they are fully supported all the way out there at that end. And then they simply slide back, and you're gonna hear 'em lock into place here. (metal clanking) Once they get to the back. And then that's gonna keep them from sliding back out when you're going down the road and stuff. Now, you will need to pair these rails with a tray trim kit that's sold separately, and also a carpeted covered plywood that's also not included for your base.
Now, the carpet's optional. I highly recommend that just because it's a nicer, cleaner look. And it just keeps stuff from kinda sliding around as well with that carpet. You also would need obviously the hardware to mount these and to mount that plywood onto this kit, and that's all sold separately too. I wanna throw an image up real quick of the tray trim kit.
So, this is a chart. The same chart you can find on this product page. And the trim kit is needed to complete the SuperSlide 2, and again, the trim kit's sold separately. Now, to find out what trim kit you need, you're gonna measure the width of your cargo's compartment opening. So, we've already determined in this case it's a 48-inch long or deep or possibly deeper, but it can't be any shallower than 48. Now you need to know the width. So, you wanna measure the width, and then subtract 4 inches. So, let's say yours was 55 inches wide, subtracting 4 would give you a 51-inch wide trim kit. Now what that does, that 4 inches taken off ensures that the tray has the proper clearance. That way it can slide in and out without having any chance of hitting the sides, getting caught up on things or whatnot. So as you can see from that chart, you can go from 27 inches all the way up to 55 inches wide as far as the cargo compartments. So again, that is sold separately. Now, I wanna zoom in here and show you how this mechanism works. You have a spring loaded lever here. You heard it lock in the back. More importantly, you got these rollers down here on this bottom part. That is what, when I unlock this push down, that is what this whole apparatus is rolling on. They can't see it, but on the backside of this piece, there's also two rollers that this rolls on as well. And down here (metal clanking) you can kinda hear me spinning it there I hope. But this whole roller just rolls down, and then when it gets to the end, again, if it was fully assembled, it would actually lock out here. And then when you pull the lever again, it's gonna release that, lets you go all the way back in (lock clicking) and then lock into place. As you can see, it's all heavy duty steel. It's been powder coated to prevent rust, corrosion and those kinda things. And it's an easy bolt-on installation inside of your cargo compartment. Now again, you're getting the inner and outer rails here included. That's it. So again, you're gonna need the tray trim kit sold separately, plywood, and all the hardware. Now when this is fully assembled, it can hold an impressive 800 pounds. And again, that's the full slide out, would be able to hold the 800 pounds. Now, only one side of these has this locking mechanism 'cause again, once you have this whole complete kit installed, obviously these two sides would be attached. And when you pull this side out, that side would obviously slide out in unison with it, and then lock back in when you got back to the back. Just like that. Well, folks, I hope this information's been helpful for you. With this kit, you're gonna be able to store camping, hiking, gear, tools, anything you need, possibly generators, whatever you need to slide inside those cargo compartments. And it also helps eliminate you crawl deep inside to reach in a dirty or cramped compartment. You can simply just slide it out and access it all with ease. I'm Steven. Thanks so much for watching. Have a great day.

Build an RV sliding cargo tray with this rail kit, a tray trim kit (sold separately), and plywood bottom (not included) to easily retrieve gear from your compartment. Included rails slide tray out so you don't have to crawl into your compartment.Great product! Very well made. I used them to build a custom sized storage drawer in the back seat area of my work truck. This allowed me to use the maximum amount of space to store my battery powered tools in the cab, preventing further damage being stored in the service bed. If I need more slides, you will get my business!
Very good product and a great company to work with even if you have issues with a product they try to make it right
These rails are exactly what I need for my specialized application - a coffin slide mechanism for a crypt-themed escape room. They arrived on time and in good condition. They are bulletproof and appear to be well made. My application will need a slide that can function again and again many times a day for years to come. These slide rails look to be a great place to start. I got great service from order to receipt of product... I would definitely order from this vendor again!
Very sturdy, just what we were looking for to add a pull out box to a survey truck. Box screws on and the rails bolt to the bed of the truck.
Just received the product. It appears to be robust and good quality. I have not installed it in my RV yet.
