If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity will sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush with the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not hauling your camper, and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

Great for your truck's looks: remove the arms from the brackets and you'll hardly know that the brackets are there.I bought this when my previous belly bar and rear tie-down bent badly when our truck slid off the road into a steep ditch and our camper nearly tipped sideways off our truck. This product is a bit better then my old set up, but I expected something much better for this very high price. It wasn't too tough to install, despite the poorly written instructions. Also, the kit did not include a bolt fisher for the 7/16 bolt. The bolt fisher supplied was for a 1/2 inch bolt. Fortunately I had the correct bolt fisher from a previous project. I am also disappointed that the tie down hole has a slot cut in it which seems would significantly weaken it. I am not optimistic that the tie-down point will not bend or break if we have a similar significant side load such as when we slid into the ditch. I will probably weld the slot in the tie-down point shut to strengthen it.
Poor packaging, missing parts and showed up looking used from being beaten in shipping.

Bit of a tricky install because it is a non-drill installation but once done very impressed.
Only reason for 4 stars is I paid extra for the quick delivery and it didn’t happen, my order was not processed at your facility for over 22 hours after my order was placed

I have purchased products from ETrailer a few times. All my experiences have been so positive. First, the phone system is an easy two-button push to place an order. Then I receive a follow-up email to ensure I received the product and there are no issues or concerns. Today, this level of customer service is unheard of. Installed on 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD. Excellent powder coating. Super wrapping and boxing. Super fast delivery. Just the best hardware, exact amounts. First rate fish wires. The rear spring perch is more narrow inside than the length of the bolt. Shear panic when I sent in the first one thinking I couldn't it to stand up. No problem, it comes in at an angle hardware and all. Other side just as easy. Rock solid superior application. Less than an hour for both. Worth every penny for the fit up.

Very secure, holding a great payload with confidence.
These tie downs, as well as the TLC3215 set, were easy to install if you have some mechanical ability. They function well with our Lance truck camper and become unobtrusive when you remove the tie down extensions. It's too early to comment on corrosion resistance, but my hope is they hold up well.

These work great with the front tie downs on my camper. Extensions are easy on and off and have held up well in the Northeast climate.
These things are great. I've been using the Brophy ones that clamp onto the bed rails and they worked fine but these are much better. Installation was very easy. These are very quick to get ready to go camping. If you can stomach the price do it you'll be glad you did.

These of been doing a great job for the past year. They’re much more solid than the Brophy‘s I used before the camper doesn’t move around at all. Would definitely purchase again if I bought a different truck.
etrailer.com is the best. Great products and great customer service. I purchased these TorkLift custom frame mounted camper tie downs to be installed on my 2017 Chevrolet 3500 HD Duramax single axle short bed. Installation was easy using the great videos provided by etrailer.com.
Bought these as I needed rear tiedowns for my camper. Instructions easy to read and the tiedowns were a pretty easy install. Worked great on our 1800 mile trip last summer. Highly recommend these Torklift tiedowns.

Instructions were straightforward, installation was easy as expected. Didn't need to jack the truck up or anything - just crawl under and bolt on. Easy. Perfect fit for my 2015 GMC Sierra 2500HD
High quality camper brackets. Very easy install with the provided instructions and bolt wire helper. The frame can be a little tricky to get the one bolt through and I would suggest some tape to keep it together till it is through the hole. Outside of that install went fast. I now have no worry about my camper moving.
Front tie-downs went on good, not too tough on this senior citizen who doesn't spend a lot of time underneath pickups. All hardware fit well. Went on 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500.

Great product. Fast shipping. The installation videos provided on the page were very helpful. I installed front and reset myself, in about 3 hours.
I ordered these upon recommendation from a friend. Upon receipt I got three estimates and went to a local body shop. When the owner reviewed the installation booklets, he was impressed by the detailed and thorough explanation and pictures by TorkLift. I do not suggest that one person install these, but it seemed easier with two people. I love that the tie downs can be partially removed during non-use to avoid catching on obstructions to the side of the vehicle. Also, the booklet gave a phone number for technical support in case the installer confronts any problems. The salesperson who helped me at etrailer was very helpful and made sure I ordered the correct items to fit my truck. I have always had good results with etrailer.

I've always been happy buying from Etrailer. This was no exception. The Tork Lift tie downs are great and were installed professionally is a less than two hours. (It would have taken me at least twice that long and I cannot lay under a vehicle that long.) I did mention that the product shipping box was broken open and that they might want to beef up the containers as a simple cardboard box won't hole the weight of these heavy-duty tie downs.

They are starting to rust significantly. That is very disappoint considering the very high cost of these. It is interesting that they dont allow pictures of the product for this update.
