When you’re carrying serious gear, you need bars that won’t flex under pressure. These Rhino-Rack Heavy Duty crossbars are made from aluminum and measure 59" long x 1-5/8" wide x 1-7/8" tall. With a weight capacity of 220 lbs, they deliver dependable strength for hauling ladders, kayaks, or contractor-grade cargo. The square bar design feels solid, so you can load up your rooftop knowing it’s built to handle the job.
Sliding or shifting loads are the last thing you want on the road. The top channels include rubber strips that cushion your gear and help prevent movement while you drive. They also provide slip resistance when tiedowns are tightened down, keeping everything where it should be until you’re ready to unload.
From ladder rollers to load stops and eyebolts, these bars are ready for all Rhino-Rack Heavy Duty accessories that mount in the top channels. That means you can configure your rack for work during the week and switch to hauling outdoor gear on the weekend—all using the same sturdy platform.
Each leg includes lockable cover plates that secure the rack to your vehicle’s tracks for peace of mind when parked. The aluminum construction resists corrosion while staying lightweight, making it ideal for year-round use. The system comes with 2 crossbars, 4 RLTF legs, and 2 RT tracks—all backed by limited warranties: lifetime on crossbars and 5 years on both legs and tracks.

Great quality
Excellent Product. Well Constructed, Definitely more wind resistance noise than I care for.
Easy to assemble and install. Vibrates a bit driving and worse with a head wind. Overall happy with my purchase
Like this but whistles when you go higher speeds
Easy to assemble and works great. The rack is very solid.
Perfect fit and delivered in time frame! Thanks of tho next best thing!
Well engineered rack that fits my Ram 2500 crew cab well. A bit of wind noise at highway speeds. I have the heavy duty cross pieces with a square cross section.
This is my second Rhino-Rack. They go on very easily and hold the bikes/kayaks and even an extension ladder very well....thanks for a great product
Mostly satisfied. Not issue of etrailers and nothing really wrong with the product but do find it funny and a bit dumb that RhinoRack gives you security screws to hold feet to track but the rails are attached with a standard bolt that can be easily seen and accessed by anyone.
There was a small delay in shipping but I was contacted quickly by phone with a follow up email. Everything arrived sooner than I expected. The Rhino roof racks mounted easily and look good. Excellent customer service.
This rack worked out great... I installed in on a 2017 Ford F-150. We drove 6 hrs through wind and rain with a SUP and Tandem Kayak on top. It really took a beating in a storm the whole way. One bracket was a little loose and shifted because of the wind on the Kayak, but it held together. Super happy with Rhino rack!
I used the crossbar on the front of my UTV rollbar to hold a LED light and two sun visors. It worked perfectly. I used rollbar clamps made to fit the rollbar to hold the crossbar in place.
Great product sturdy bars. Keep in mind anything you install on the bars needs to have longer bolts because of how big the bars are but that's a minor detail
Ok… giving this item four stars as an overall view. The good: it fits a Jeep Wrangler perfectly. With the appropriate legs, it canvases across the entire roof of the Jeep with the legs attaching to the gutters. The bad: just a bit too noisy for my liking, even with the appropriate wind faring (I don’t expect absolute silence since I have a one touch sky top). The noise is not a big deal on short trips, but it was definitely driving my wife and kids nuts on a 2+ hour drive (stick some headphones on the kids, problem fixed)
In the future, I might switch it up from these square rails and go with something a bit more aerodynamic…
Kit was great, except my SnugTop cover required longer T-Bolts for mounting the tracks. The 1.5 inch ones provided were too short. It was a little tough sourcing T/Bolts that would work. It would have been nice if longer T-Bolts could have been an option from Rhino Rack.
I was building a rack for the skin on frame sailboat I built. I needed a crossbar on the top of my truck but the tracks were longer than I needed. I ended up cutting one of the tracks in half and redrilling the holes for the end caps on the cut ends. It was a little difficult to bend the track along the curved profile of my 2019 Ram Classic roof and get the holes where I needed. It says not to use a pop riveter but I didn't have a pneumatic one and have very good grip strength. I needed every bit of my grip strength in both hands to make it work but it did, in fact work. I used tape to cover the track around the rivets and prevent scratches because when the rivets pop, it's a little out of control. Overall it turned out well. I ended up machining a custom crossbar and T nuts due to having a machine shop on my garage.
