Question:

i would like to know what size bolts for roof channel how to remove plugs. what r plugs in center rear roof @ top brake light and how 2 remove ? How 2 remove front headliner and how 2 remove light/ sunglasses holder in headliner. Sorry 4 lengthy question I dont know how 2 find this info. thank you in advance 4 Your help. Do You know anything about mounting batteries under truck ? thanks again

I spoke with Tony, my contact at Rhino Rack, and he assured me that you will only install the Rhino-Rack RT-Style Roof Track, # RB1800B-2, # RLTF, # RRRTS546, from the outside of your 2012 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. There is no need to remove your headliner or any of the lights/accessories on the interior.

To install the rails, you will need to remove the plugs on your Sprinter's roof with a flat head screwdriver in order to secure the track with the T-bolts provided. You will also need to drill holes for the rivets. I am including a snapshot of the installation instructions which illustrate this process.

As for mounting a battery under a truck, I recommend that you contact a truck service shop to see if they could be of help.
