Will Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Fit 2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

Will this work for a 2006 2 door Jeep Runicon?

The Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Legs # RL150S2 are designed to fit factory rain gutters on certain models of the Jeep Cherokee and Liberty. Unfortunately, there is not a rain gutter mount for your Rubicon. If you want to add the Rhino-Rack square bars shown with these legs to your 2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon you will need the following:

-Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Roof Rack Crossbars # RB1500B-2

-Rhino-Rack Quick Mount Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRRLT600

-Rhino-Rack RT-Style Roof Rack Tracks # RRRTS547

-Roof Rack Leg Spacer Blocks for Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Crossbars # RRQMHD05-2

This is assuming you have a hard top with no existing rails or crossbars. If you want to stick with square bars but you don't want to install rails on the top of your Jeep, I recommend the Thule SquareBar Evo roof rack system instead. This will also allow you to mount the rack on your factory rain gutters. You will need the following:

-Thule SquareBar Evo Crossbars # TH712500

-Rapid Gutter Feet for Thule Crossbars # TH93ZR

Keep in mind, if you don't want a bunch of wind noise square bars aren't the way to go. Some people get a rack like this and quickly decide the noise is too much. If you think that might be you, you can still use the Thule Rapid Gutter Feet with the aero-style WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711520 which will be a lot quieter.
