Will the Thule Atlantis 780 Roof box fit on Rhino Heavy Duty racks?

Since the Thule Atlantis Cargo Box is no longer being manufactured, I cannot verify which crossbars the box will work with. I spoke with my contact at Thule, but since they do not test their products with other manufacturer's roof racks, they were unable to tell me if the cargo box will fit. They did tell me that the Atlantis will fit any Thule roof rack crossbars.

I can give you the dimensions of the Rhino-Rack heavy-duty crossbars we offer and you will need to measure to see if the clamps you have on the cargo box will work with those dimensions.

For the square heavy-duty crossbars like part # RB1500B-2, the bar measures 1-5/8 inches wide and 1-7/8 inches tall. If you measure the clamps on your Atlantis cargo box and they will fit those dimensions just let me know what the year make and model of your vehicle is and I will be happy to make a roof rack recommendation that will work for you.

I pulled a crossbar and installed a Thule cargo box to see if it would fit. As the enclosed photo shows, it would not be very stable and I would not recommend using the Rhino-Rack heavy-duty crossbar system to carry a Thule cargo box.
