Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement mounting bracket for the Yakima SlimShady rollout awning. This is going to replace one mounting bracket for your SlimShady rollout awning. And on your screen, I do have the item number of that awning for your reference, and for further reference, I just wanted to give you the bolt hole spacing. So lemme put my ruler up there, lining that up center to center, as you can see the bolt hole spacing is four inches on center, and this mounting bracket is exactly like the one that you are needing to replace. This is directly from Yakima, so you can trust that it's going to fit right in place of the original.
You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues, or anything like that. I got a pair of these to use to mount a Roam brand awning to my Yakima Outpost set-up. They worked great! I wanted to attach my awning in way that looked clean and could detach easily—that way I can swap it over to our Subaru too. Very pleased with how these worked. etrailer site was great. This place always has tons of good, detailed information.

I give a 5 but honestly can't use it. Awning track is larger on mine so it doesn't fit. And since Duty fees are equal to the total price, I will keep it.

I ordered the brackets to use on my install of my ARB Touring Aluminum cased awning. I believe the brackets would have fit, with minor alteration. The two rail awning, this bracket fits with drilling two new holes that line up. Not a problem. My issue was and I was unaware at time of ordering was the Aluminum cased ARB Touring awning has 3 rails and the end caps are riveted on. I was not willing to remove the end caps, void warranties, etc. So these probably would fit if the end caps were removable. Great product, solid.

With a little modifications I was able to make it work for my CVT awning... Worked out great.. I wished it came with the yakima locks and keys ..
