Will The 8880737 Replacement Clamp Work With Round Bars On Yakima Rack And Roll Trailer

Question:

I would like to use this part 8880737 with Yakima round cross bars that are found on the Rack and Roll Yakima trailer I bought from you folks a couple years ago. I believe that the round cross bars are probably the same as part number Y00411 though that is just a guess. In one of your other QandA, it sounds like the 8880737 might come WITH an adapter for a round cross bar something like part Y96KR ?. If you could please confirm that this 8880737 will work with the round cross bars, I would greatly appreciate it. They are not that inexpensive and I need to procure 4 of them and also 4 of the awning brackets. Thank you in advance.

Hello Mark, thanks for reaching out. I can confirm that yes, the # 8880737 Replacement Clamp will indeed be compatible with the round crossbars on your Yakima Rack and Roll trailer. These crossbars are the same as the regular Yakima round bars. The # 8880737 does not include any additional adapter for the round bars. The clamp was made to be a universal fit for all crossbars, square, aero or round, so it will be a snug, secure fit.
