Question:

Hi, I am looking for the best way to mount my new ARB 2000 awning to my Yakima round cross bars, preferably without drilling through the cross bars. Will the Yakima Slim Shady mount and bracket system work with the ARB awning? Are the channel dimensions on these awnings the same? Thanks

I can't confirm the fit as we don't have the ARB 2000 awning to check. I can confirm that the Replacement Clamp Assembly for Yakima SlimShady Roll-Out Awning # 8880737 and the Replacement Mounting Bracket for Yakima SlimShady Roll-Out Awning # 8880736 will work well together and provide you with a solid connection to your Yakima round crossbars.

The channel dimensions of most products are similar with the T-slot that found on the Yakima Jetstream Crossbars that have a slot that is 1 inch wide and 1/2 inch tall. The Replacement T-Bolt with Nut for Yakima Rack and Roll Trailers - Qty 4 # Y8880184 may work well. I've attached a photo of the bolt dimensions to assist.
