Question:

I have a 2015 diamond cargo 20-foot car hauler i.need to.replace the dome cover for the roof vent. Measuring from inside. The inside of the vent is 13inch outside edge is 16.5inch I would like 2 replacement lids. Also.hoping this is able to be replaced from inside the trailer.

Diamond Cargo's website does not provide any details about the roof vents installed in their car hauler trailers but since most trailer roof vents are the square 14 x 14 size chances are good that is what you have. We offer all types of roof vent replacement lids. If you can find a brand and/or part number anywhere on the vent that will help too.

You'll want to check the hinge type used on your vent. There are three basic types and all are shown on the photo I linked for you.

Once you know your hinge type click on that filter on the linked page. You'll then see only vent lids for that type of hinge. Then select your preferred color. For example, if you have a continuous type hinge and want a metal lid use part # BV0534-00 from Ventline.

It is unlikely that you'll be able to replace the lid from inside the trailer.
