Question:

Measurements on the vent cover are 14 ¼ by 14 ¼ so it appears your plastic cover (BV0554-01) will work or the metal one (BV0534-00), assuming they are essentially the same style, size and mounting assembly? The existing covers have the metal (continuous) hinge. The trailer is a car hauler built by Pace American, and has two vents the same size/style w/ the metal window-handle crank and interior screens. I think it was made in late 90’s or early 2000’s. I would prefer to go w/ the metal covers if they are same as the plastic, The plastic ones on the trailer have deteriorated badly and have been covered w/ aluminum tape for temporary patch to keep rain, snow, etc. out. Please advise.

Vent lids are actually very universal so since you have the standard vent measurements and a continuous hinge you can definitely use either part # BV0554-01 or part # BV0534-00 depending on which style you like better.
