Video Transcript for Review of Dexter Replacement Stainless Steel Wire Retainer Clip UFP DB35 Brake Caliper - DX54FT

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this replacement stainless steel wire retainer clip for your Dexter UFP DB35 brake caliper. Now this is going to be a small but important replacement part for your Dexter UFP DB35 disc brake caliper. And I got a photo there. It's not a great quality photo, but just to give you an idea of where this is going to go, which you probably already know, but this is the stainless steel wire retainer, or anti-rattle clip that's going to help keep the brake pad, hardware secured inside the caliper. Its main job is to keep the pads from moving around unnecessarily, and that's going to help reduce vibration, chatter, and noise while the trailer is being towed.

So obviously this is going to be for those who already have the DB35 caliper and has a retainer clip that's missing. Maybe it's damaged, corroded, or just needs to be replaced. So instead of replacing the entire caliper, just because this piece is bad, you can just replace the wire itself. I think that's going to wrap up our quick look today. Again, my name's Andy.

Thank you for joining me.
